Our Story

Established June 1995 by Joel Braun, Bullseye Industries started as one machine and one man. Joel began working in manufacturing the day after he graduated from high school in 1984. He began in sheet metal fabrication and merged into CNC Machining which fed his desire to learn and create. Going from print to product, overcoming the mental and physical challenges each new project presented, sparked a passion for the metalworking industry. Joel moved from machinist to sales and estimating at 29 years old then decided it was time to take control of his most valuable asset, reputation.

In May 1995 Joel sought advice from business friend Dick Midland of Midland Machinery. Joel told Dick he wanted to start his own machine shop and Dick asked, “What do you need?” Joel stated, “A lathe, barfeed and chip conveyor.” Dick delivered the $70,000 of equipment to Joel and told him, “Pay for it when you can.” A true and lasting partnership was formed between Bullseye Industries and Midland Machinery. Then an SBA loan was obtained with the help of banker Al Schwab, another true partner in the growth of Bullseye Industries.

Joel’s time in sales had already established quality relationships and his reputation and focus on Quality, Delivery and a Competitive price began filling the machines. So began the journey and growth; every 6 months it was time to buy another machine. Today Bullseye Industries has grown to over 56 employees and 49 CNC machines under a 56,000 sq. ft. building. Bullseye’s main asset, “REPUTATION” has also grown beyond State and National borders. The FOCUS is still the same, “Quality products, delivered on time, at a competitive price, DONE by SKILLED employees, who are the backbone of the Company.

INVEST: Bullseye has invested in the future, not only by building a skilled work force, but by purchasing highly efficient automated machines. Reducing the labor cost/part and improving efficiency, has given Bullseye and its employees stability in the market place.

No project is too big for Bullseye; our Customers can grow because We are a “TRUE PARTNER” in manufacturing.
