Kasturba Medical College Mangalore, one of the constituent units of Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) previously known as Manipal University, was established in 1955. The medical college has been ranked 16th among top medical colleges in India by NIRF, Ministry of Human Resource Development & Government of India in 2019. The medical college is spread over an area about 30.78 acres of land.
This top deemed medical college offers undergraduate medical course i.e. Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and PG medical courses namely Doctor of Medicine (MD), Master of Surgery (MS) and PG Medical Diploma to the medical students.
