JINAN UNIVERSITY INTRODUCTION Jinan University was the first comprehensive university in China to establish its own medical school. The university was established to cater to the needs of Overseas Chinese and foreign students. An international recognized curriculum designed particularly for overseas undergraduate students has been set up in order to cultivate high-educated medical talent that can adapt to developments in modern medical science. The University has 25 colleges, comprising 58 departments and offering 86 undergraduate major fields. The University has 17 affiliated hospitals with altogether 12,519 beds.
