FAMILY HOUSE BOLEBOŘ Design studio 5 - bacherol thesis

Atelier: Košatka, Pešková

Assignment further developed in this bachelor´s theses consisted in desingning a family house that located on a very calm and gently sloping land in small village called Boleboř near Chomutov.

The house by its shape responds to the uniqu view of the Mostecká pan. Structures are oriented in a specific direction providing the users the best view from all main living areas is even more enhanced by south glass facade and glass front side of second floor.

Horizontally splitted and rotated structures are connected by the staircase in the axis of rotation. The house with its installations offers a premium range of activities such as gym, sauna, private garden and many beauties of nature arround.

BAMBOO SCHOOL IN MYANMAR Engineering in Developing Countries

Leader: Jan Tilinger

Burma is one of the countries of Southeast Asia. Situated on a peninsula Indies off the coast of Bengal Bay and the Andaman Sea in the Indian Ocean. Neighboring countries are Bangladesh, India, China, Laos and Thailand. Burma is approximately 10 times then Czech. On the north into territory extends the Himalayas, on the west mountain ranges ending Arakansas mountains. To the east is the Shan plateau in the middle of the Irrawaddy then lowlands. In Myanmar, strongly dominated by agriculture over industrial production.

Education in our treatment area (Rakhine) is at a relatively low level. Compared in terms of education developed regions and Mandelay Yangon - attending elementary / middle school students approximately 3-5x less. The total number of schools in our area is 78, while the nearest primary and secondary school located in Myebon. Conditions in these schools, however, can be described more as a makeshift.

HOSPICE AMONG THE GARDENS Design studio 4 - erasmus project in Glasgow Atelier: john barr ARCHITECT

Hospice is both a type and a philosophy of care that focuses on the palliation of a terminally ill patient‘s symptoms. Many children with a life-threatening or life-limiting condit on now live into young adulthood due to advances in medical care. The need for respite care to extend beyond children’s services is important to meet the individual needs of these young people.

The journey to adulthood itself can be uncertain and because of illness young people and their families can be faced with many challenges.The new facility would provIde support for young people with palliative care needs. The facility would provide care centred on privacy, dignity and independence.

CITY HALL OF PRAGUE 10 Design studio 3

Atelier: Kotas, Hájek

Present entrace to subway was designed as circle because there wasn´t specified urbanstyle. This space was amost plain. At this time there is unclear and unreadable context between main space of stašnice and closly connected streets. People there missing more green spaces. This city hall is situated in part of Prague called Prague 10 strašnice. There are all kind of public transport as subway, tram, bus.

NEW DESIGN

Respects surrounding buildings and makes functional public space which is made by inclined green surface.

Makes clearly defined space with new city hall which grow up and adds piece of dignity this all place.Underder inclined surface of city hall is concert hall for public. The way up leading to top where is restaurant.

HOUSING FOR RETIREMENT Design studio 2

This house for old people is situated in small village near prague called lužná has 1.800 Inhabitants and is very quite.

House is located on the main square which is almost trim park. I desiced to grasp all parcel for this building because green areas are close and easily accessible.

RUSH STREET HOUSING Design studio 1

Atelier: Čajková, Táborský

Part of city prague 5 called radlice was transit district to walter´s engines factory. Also today the main street is in rush. Trams and cars make a lot of bad noises.

Designed facade heading to this rush street and looks like shark´s scales. These loggias are giving view to the center of prague. Solid walls of these scales heading to the street and bounce bad noises back.

INTERIOR DESIGN The first one is a loft apartment in a reconstructed old textile factory which was awarded as The Best European Redevelopment in 2008.

The new design is extension of upper floor by simple steel construction which creates an industrial look with other elements.

The second apartment has been redesigned from the ground and built as smart home with remote service. Almost everything could be remoted via phone as lighting, heating, ventilation, curtains, music, TVs and safety door.

TOW TRUCK´S ALUMINIUM BODY

Is used to move disable, indisposed motor vehicles. These powerful trucks need carry a lot of equipments for recovery. Mostly you can see just simple boxes on sides.

New big trucks have angular shape of their body as our first design.

I designed two truck´s bodies which are 7 meters long and made of aluminium to reduce weight. I designed the bodies as two or three parts due to tensity of the material in this length. One of them has curved design which is brand new design on the market. Shapes connects to cabin makes a new look. We are self-contained of tools to build the aluminium body and the recovery shoulder. We have got plasma cutter, bending machine, metal welding machine and 3D printer.
