Patrick Mckillop Pembroke Bringing New Treatments to the People The medical industry is under a constant state of change due to the amount of new technologies being developed that better diagnose, treat, and ultimately cure diseases that ail people all over the world. These technologies are being developed by biopharmaceutical companies and biotechnology companies that are tasked with researching, treating, and developing treatment plans for incurable diseases that continue to plague humans to this day. Diseases like Alzheimer’s disease and Down Syndrome for example are just two of the health problems being researched by these companies on a daily basis.

New technology today means a better and brighter future for tomorrow as we become closer to treating incurable diseases in today’s society. New approaches to the treating of these diseases, such as gene therapy, monoclonal antibodies, andother experimental treatments could be the path to a healthier society in the near future.

However, the ongoing increase in new technology makes it hard to determine the next big shift in medical treatments for incurable diseases. With the umber of biopharmaceutical and biotechnology companies competing to discover the next big thing, it isn’t so much a matter of what, but more a question of when.

Patrick Mckillop of Pembroke, Massachusetts is currently serving the biopharmaceutical company, Transition Therapeutics as the Director of Investor Relations. His goal is to help his company come up with new treatment plans and new technologies that help alleviate ailing people in the world today. The work he is involved in is exciting and can bring about a major change in the medical field very soon.
