PATH’s mission is to end homelessness for individuals, families, and communities. Since our founding in 1984, PATH has pioneered bold and effective approaches to assist people experiencing homelessness.
PATH operates services in Santa Barbara and across the State of California, connecting people to a comprehensive continuum of homelessness prevention, street outreach, housing-focused case management, healthcare linkages, supportive services, employment assistance, interim housing, and permanent supportive housing.
PATH serves over 25,000 people annually across 150 cities in California. Since 2013, we have helped more than 13,000 people move into their own home.
PATH has been working to end homelessness in Santa Barbara since 2015. We do that by operating an interim housing site and by providing supportive services that help people make it home. PATH has connected 2,302 people in the Santa Barbara community to permanent housing.
PATH Santa Barbara's Community Hub, located on Cacique Street in East Santa Barbara, includes an interim housing program for 100+ men and women. Our site includes an array of resources under one roof, including temporary shelter, three nutritious meals a day, health services, medical respite, case management, substance treatment, and more.
