Rooted in a good tradition

The Pastform Furniture studio dates back to the 1990s. Having in mind the idea of a traditional family company, Dawid Gełeta established a carpenter’s shop in 1997. The company specialized in manual production of utility furniture. Times have changed and with them fashion has changed. In 2016 we decided to change the direction, following the growing demand for vintage furniture.

My name is Mateusz Gełeta, I am the son of the carpenter who has founded the company. From an early age I have watched my dad’s work. He put his whole heart into creating furniture, polishing every detail with his strong hands and making sure that nothing escaped our attention before sending the product to the customer. He made sure that every piece of furniture was perfect and refined. We remain true to these principles.

Following the blow, I decided to create a harmonious combination of modern quality with the classic style of the 1960s. This is why I designed and created a unique collection of wonderful furniture, which, in addition to its well-thought-out functionality, also create a perfect design and compose original arrangements.

Golden age of interior design

In the 1960s interiors used to take on a very characteristic touch. All over the world this style was called a mid-century modern, locally it was simply – a retro furniture. Simple, elegant minimalistic form, without unnecessary decorations and splendor. Decorating with the idea of an uncomplicated composition, it allows for undisturbed selection of the arrangement accessories and emphasizes a high level of functional comfort. One might say – a perfect furniture. Comfortable, hiding surprisingly many items despite quite neat dimensions, made of noble species of wood and created by hand, with a focus on carefully refined details. No wonder its popularity is growing so much.

We use only high quality boards which we veneer with oak, American walnut and other durable wood species. They are carefully oiled with the best, hard, ecological oil waxes, giving the furniture its final shape. This technology brings out a natural beauty of wood, exposes the grain and unique design of each piece, highlights the beautiful color and allows to achieve timeless durability.

Sideboard LOTV

The TV cabinet is a piece of furniture which you need to pay special attention to. After all, you peek at it every time you watch TV, so quite often. Therefore, it is important that it pleases the eye and has a simple, non-attention-grabbing shape. Our LOTV chest of drawers meets these requirements. It is classic, elegant and – if you can say so – discreet. Its consists of three parts: the center with an open shelf, and two side parts with click-open fronts and shelves inside.

Why is a retro LOTV cabinet a good choice?

the LOTV chest of drawers combines its functional and aesthetic advantages. It has holes for cables in the back, so tangled wires are no longer a problem. For its production we used solid wood, probably the best, the strongest and durable, but also the most beautiful raw material ever.

Sideboard Ron

Ron Sideboard is one of our gems. This piece of furniture is very popular among our customers, and we are not surprised at all. Why? Because it is beautiful, timeless, solid and versatile. It will appeal to both vintage style lovers, and amateurs of modern, minimalistic interiors. This is due to its design and shape, which we borrowed from the design of the 1950s / 1960s. Hole for the wires is in the middle section.

Ron Sideboard – vintage arrangement possibilities

Not only residential interiors can benefit from the retro Ron Sideboard. It also looks good in shops, boutiques, hotels, offices, restaurants and widely understood commercial space. Divided into three parts – one with four drawers and the other two with cupboards that open on tip-on – it can accommodate a lot of items

Sideboard LOTV +

LOTV+ is a piece of furniture that can become an inseparable companion of the RTV equipment. This functional model is equipped with a number of openings for easy cable attachment. It prevents cables get tangled and allows you to maintain order and aesthetic appearance in the living room. The chest of drawers consists of 3 parts, two of which are divided into spacious cabinets. The middle part is made of shelves that can be positioned 5cm down and up.

Vintage style – furniture at the top level

Wooden vintage furniture is an absolute hit in interior design. In order to refer to the style of the 1950s and 1960s, recessed handles has been used in the LOTV+ chest of drawers (on customer’s request we can use the so-called „click” openings)

Classy Desk

This desk is capacious, solid, bright and incredibly light. Made of a beautiful, natural beech wood covered with veneer. Equipped with wooden recessed handles. It is divided into three parts: the center, with a large space for legs, and two side parts equipped with two drawers each. You can comfortably work at it, read, do homework, write and drink your coffee. It is made for fans of extraordinary items.

Classy Desk – where can it be used?

Due to its simple, referring to the 1950s/1960s design form, the desk is universal and timeless. Next to its primary role, the desk can also be a hall table, flower stand or a book shelf. When manufacturing it we took care of every detail. That is why we have no worries about whether you will be satisfied with this unique piece of furniture.

Our Libra Sideoboard delights on many ways. It draws attention with its simple design and beautiful color which it owes to the natural wood and veneer. It looks good in a living room, hallway or a bedroom, but it can also be a great office furniture.

Practical solutions to meet modern needs

There are three identical parts in the Libra Sideboard chest of drawers. There is one height-adjustable shelf in each niche closed with a push-to-open system. If necessary, you can take out each shelf to make space for larger items. The furniture rests on cylindrical, angled legs, which is our tribute to the 1950s and 1960s design.

Chest of drawers Cern

A piece of furniture doesn’t have to be extremely decorative to attract attention. Simplicity is attractive too, especially when it takes on such sophisticated form as a Cern dresser. It consists of three deep and two slightly shallower drawers at the top. They all have wooden handles. The furniture rests on obliquely mounted, cylindrical legs. These details were popular in the 1950s and 1960s. This design is particularly close to us, so we make the most of it.

Bonam Chest of Drawers is perfect for small apartments where every square meter is as precious as gold. Despite its relatively small dimensions, it can hold a lot. Although it is a typical TV cabinet with a wide top, shelves and cabinet closed with a door, and it is not limited only to acting as a “stand” for audio-video equipment. It will also be perfect, for example, as a linen cupboard or a cabinet for children’s books and toys.
