Pasadena Chamber member educational institutions have hosted Nobel Laureates, leaders in art, design and cinema, educational innovators and ministers working world-wide. Our chamber member schools offer rte best education from pre-school through high school and our local community college is considered the jewel of the California system. Specialty schools and educators work with children with autism and other disabilities, foster youth and more.

PASADENA LANGUAGE CENTER is a private language institute located in Old Pasadena, dedicated to providing top quality classes for adults and children in Los Angeles who want to learn a new language and/or improve their foreign language skills. Our language instructors are carefully selected based on their experience in teaching, their passion for sharing their culture and their dedication to students. Our teaching method focuses on conversation parallel to learning important grammar structure.

PCC’s 27,000 students are eager to get to work After more than 90 years in the business, most people are ready to retire. But at PCC, which started serving the San Gabriel Valley in 1924, the work is just geIng started. Pasadena City College is a key economic driver for our area, supplying a trained, flexible workforce that serves regional labor market needs. The college’s career education and workforce development programs got a boost with a statewide investment of $2.8 million in the last two years. These funds are targeted toward key industries that serve Southern California, including biotech and health sciences. “The college needs strong ties to our partners in the business community so we can stay agile and respond to changes in the landscape,” says Salvatrice Cummo, PCC’s executive director of Economic & Workforce Development. Cummo’s job is to direct the college’s engagement strategy with local business leaders. Want to learn more? Visit pasadena.edu/ewd today!
