The relatively short and twisty Sachsenring Circuit in Germany is always a great test for the riders and their machines. The MotoGP pack speeds past one of the all-yellow Valentino Rossi club sections at this year’s race.

After double wins in the month of June, Jorge Lorenzo (99) came back after the summer break to score his third victory of 2018 in Austria.

As noted previously, Jorge Lorenzo’s return to his winning form has been quite remarkable. 114 of the 130 points he has scored this season have come in the last six races.

Spanish rider Alex Rins started the season a bit slowly, but he has made steady gains— including a 2nd-place finish at Assen—to move into the top 10 in the point standings.

“Dovi” is congratulated after prevailing in a spirited battle at the Czech Republic race with teammate Jorge Lorenzo and Honda’s Marc Marquez. All three riders crossed the finish line less than four-tenths of a second apart.
