Rooted in the tradition of the Sisters of Notre Dame, St. Francis is a Cleveland Diocesan school working in partnership with parents to provide a quality Catholic education based on Gospel living within a safe, caring, and peaceful environment.

The Office of Catholic Education is committed to the educational mission of the Catholic Church in the schools of the Diocese of Cleveland. Therefore, our mission is to lead, assist, and support Catholic school communities in providing quality education infused with Gospel values.
Philosophy
We believe in the importance of religion. We recognize the need for God in the lives of all people and that our relationships with God are fostered in a worshipping community.
We believe in the worth of the individual child. We recognize that each child is made in the image and likeness of God.
We believe in the parents’ role as the primary educator of their children. We recognize that education begins with life in the heart of the family.
We believe in providing a quality education. We recognize that a primary goal of St. Francis School is to prepare its students for their role in the future.
Accreditation
St. Francis School is fully accredited by the Ohio Catholic School Accrediting Association (OCSAA).
TEACHER LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION
All teachers of St. Francis School are certified by the State of Ohio. Further, teachers of our faith are certified by the Diocese in Religious Instruction. Each teacher strives to teach and act consistently with the philosophy, goals and policies of the Diocese of Cleveland and St. Francis School.
