Important information before installation Prior to installation, please note the following information as it may impact the performance and function of the reader. 1. The reader may not be installed directly onto a metal surface, close to metal or other electric conductive material since this can interfere with the reader’s RFID signals. If the reader is going to be mounted on metal please use spacer plate art.no. F1140 or F1150. 2. The minimum distance between two readers must be at least 50 cm (20 inch). Otherwise they may interfere with each other. 3. Always test the reader in its intended environment before permanent installation. 4. The card reader must be connected to door controller with the same Terminal ID. The Terminal ID is written on the card reader and the door controller. 5. Put the cover sticker on the card reader when the reader is fully installed and tested.

Note! - The door controller comes with a built-in transformer. You only need to have standard 230V connection. - Do not exceed 300mA for external card reader. - Maximum distance between card reader and door controller is 80 m. - Do not connect any cables other than power cables to the power supply. - Do not connect anything other than the supplied hardware.
