What is Mild Cognitive Impairment?
Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI) is a condition characterised by changes in cognitive functioning beyond those expected for a person’s age, but which are not bad enough to be described as dementia.
People with MCI are about three times more likely to progress to dementia over two to five years than their peers who do not have MCI.
