FEATURE STORY

The Menard Group – Making Positive Moves! We all know that 2020 was a challenging year in so many ways. It taught us compassion, strength and grit! One bright spot of 2020 was the real estate market. As the needs of buyers changed with remote work and virtual school, we saw a major influx of buyers moving from NYC and more densely populated surrounding areas out to the suburbs of NJ.

The Menard Group also saw many changes in 2020! We were excited to join Compass! In seven years, Compass has become the #1 independent brokerage in the US. #1 in NYC, they understood the surge of buyers moving to the suburbs and expanded at the ideal time opening four successful NJ offices with plans to open more.

That trend is expected to continue in 2021 as the anticipation of continued flexible work schedules has buyers realizing they have many more options in terms of where they can live. More space, flexible floor plans, home offices, gyms and outdoor entertaining areas have become key features. Morris County was ready for the renewed interest that resulted in an increase of 14% in overall sales. With historically low interest rates expected to remain in 2021 along with an overall low inventory of available homes and increased buyer demand, 2021 is expecting to see the continuation of a strong Real Estate Market.

As founding agents, we were drawn to the unparalleled technology platform along with the in-house marketing and advertising agency that Compass provides enabling us to sell our client’s properties faster and for more money! Compass Concierge is a fabulous program that offers interest free loans to homeowners for needed improvements prior to listing in order to realize the highest net proceeds possible! That is the goal!
