fresh oysters, they travel to the coasts of France, Ireland, the Netherlands, the United States, and Canada. Having tasted numerous different types of oysters, weighed up the advantages and disadvantages of each, and pondered hard about which varieties of oyster would best tempt the palates of the guests, they believe that they have found the perfect combination in each country. Here in the US, they prefer to serve the Northern East Coast oysters.
They want nothing more than to let people enjoy eating their oysters. Sitting idly at home is not their style, so they came up with a delivery concept: Oysters2go!
Red Oyster USA is proud to have built up lasting, trusting relationships with their dedicated oyster farmers. After all, they are their partners in bringing you oysters, and they work together to make sure that they provide you with the most delicious ones every time. They know our way of working, and our high standards when it comes to the quality and taste of the oyster, the packaging, and the whole supply chain. Every single day, you can count on it that these highly skilled oyster farmers will be doing their very best to select the highest quality oysters from the water, ready to be handed to you
Oysters2go is a premium oyster catering service. They deliver fresh oysters to your doorstep. They serve the oysters on ice and with fresh lemon and a mignonette. The minimum order amount is one dozen (12 oysters) and the order quantity is in dozen. They have also different vinaigrettes and grilled oysters. For more information: www.red-oyster.com/oysters2go
COVID-19 and Oysters2go Now that a lot of events and parties related to COVID-19 have been cancelled, their OystertainmentÂŽ service came unfortunately to a standstill. This affected us and many others in the hospitality and events industry.

What is Sweet and Heavenly That Makes Everything Better? Sundae! What is sweet and heavenly that makes everything better? Sundae! Like the classic dessert, this 2-year-old Pit Bull mix is as sweet as can be! Sundae is a spunky, fun girl who will keep you on your toes. She would be great in a home with kids of 13 and up and she is also dog-friendly (males only). Nothing makes Sundae happier than being in your company, specifically cuddled up in your arms. She is a true love bug that will cover your face in kisses and make sure your lap is always warm! She loves receiving any affection you have to offer and will return the favor in double! Sundae loves being active and playing. Sundae is working on her house training and leash training in her foster home. She cannot live with cats. She does well in the crate but at night prefers to be in bed with you or in her doggy bed. Sundae will certainly add some sweetness in your life. May 22 Marked the 125th Anniversary of the Opening of St. Francis Health Resort (Continued from Page 17)
HISTORICAL ROOTS The work of the founding sisters was started by a young German woman named Amalia Streitel who in 1883 founded the congregation of the Sisters of the Sorrowful Mother, the Third Order of St. Francis, in Rome. Even as a child, Amalia, whose name in religion was Mother Frances Streitel, had cared for the less fortunate, accompanying her mother in delivering food and clothing to the poor and ailing. She wanted her new congregation to blend this active service to the needy with a spiritual life centered on contemplation. In the first years, her Sisters worked with orphans and the aged, but in time their primary missions became compassionate and loving care for the sick and suffering, and education for children. In early 1888, Mother Frances believed her community was ready to reach beyond the walls of Rome to the missions of America and she sent Sister Mary Scholastica Demer and Sister Mary Joachima Hornung as her fist missionaries to the United States. They were to find new work and resources for their congregation. The first assignment came from the Bishop of Wichita, KS who asked them to reopen an abandoned hospital. With nine of their Sisters,

the two missionaries embarked on the massive undertaking, with little experience and less money. They endured harsh poverty and backbreaking labor, but they made the hospital they called St. Francis a success. Word of their work spread north to Wisconsin, where several parish priests encouraged the Sisters to open hospitals in their area: in Marshfield, Rhinelander, Tomahawk, Menominee and Oshkosh. It was there that a young German priest, Father Joseph Joch, entered their story. In 1891, he was appointed to give pastoral care and financial guidance to the Sisters in the Wisconsin area. In 1892, Father Joch returned to Germany for treatment for a health problem and discovered the Kneipp Water Cure, a system of convalescent care combining hydrotherapy with fresh air, exercise, rest and good nutrition. Enthusiastic about his own experience, he learned the Kneipp methods and brought his new expertise back to the Sisters. They agreed to try the system at the Marshfield hospital with the hope of helping their failing finances. The treatments were successful, but the medical model and alternate treatment were incompatible and the water cure was discontinued.
