Frank L. Cahill What a surprise! Staff member Nicolas Limanov planned a surprise 30th Anniversary Party for Parsippany Focus at Gourmet Cafe on Sunday, October 27. The event was well attended by many family members, readers, former employees, friends and local diginitaries.

Parsippany Focus was first released as a monthly printed newspaper on October 1, 1989 mailed to every resident of the Township of Parsippany-Troy Hills.

At that time, Parsippany Focus was named the “Official newspaper of the Parsippany Area Chamber of Commerce (PACC)”. Publisher Frank Cahill, was named on the Board of Directors of PACC in 1989,

eventually elected Vice President, and then President-elect (but due to commitments with Focus did not continue as President, just remained on the Board of Directors.) He also created a Retail Committee to work with area businesses.

Parsippany Focus converted to a weekly newspaper serving the residents of Parsippany-Troy Hills in June 1991. Eventually Parsippany Focus was named the legal newspaper of the Township of Parsippany-Troy Hills. This was the first weekly newspaper in many years appointed to serve the needs of the Township of Parsippany-Troy Hills.

A Message From the Superintendent The Sound of Music is Alive and Well in Parsippany Schools!

Dr. Barbara Sargent Research consistently demonstrates a strong correlation between music education and academic performance. Specifically, music education influences learning in these areas: • Improves recall and retention of verbal information • Advances math achievement • Boosts reading and communication skills • Increases average SAT scores In many schools across the nation, music and arts education programs have been reduced due to lack of funding. Thankfully, this is not the case in Parsippany-Troy Hills Township Schools.

Music education is thriving and our educators are working hard with vocalists and musicians – from Preschool to high school – to prepare for winter concerts, spring musicals, and special ensemble performances.

For the second consecutive year, the district has been awarded “Best Communities for Music Education Award” by the NAMM Foundation. This award program recognizes outstanding efforts by teachers, administrators, parents, and students who have made music education part of a well-rounded education. Designations are made to districts and schools that demonstrate an exceptionally high commitment and access to music education.

This certainly comes as no surprise to the high school musicians, vocalists, and music parents who faithfully attend football games, competitions, holiday events, and other showcases throughout the year. They know that 6 l Parsippany Focus Magazine

music education supports healthy social development and the quality of a young person’s life, and it prepares young people for success in a diverse community. The camaraderie that comes with being a part of a performing group, whether it be Marching Band or Pit Orchestra or Concert Choir, is unmatched in other organizations.

Parsippany students enjoy vocal music instruction beginning with in preschool, and continue with lessons and performances through their elementary, middle, and high school years.

Instrumental lessons begin with the recorder, or flutophone, in 3rd grade which leads to student selection of a band instrument for interested 4th grade students. New to Parsippany students this year is the opportunity for interested 3rd grade students to begin lesson study in a stringed instrument – violin, viola, or cello. We currently have over 230 children involved in strings lessons and are excited about a middle and high school orchestra in future years.

We’re quite proud of our music program and appreciate your support in attending student concerts, cheering for band members during parades and half-time shows, and encouraging the young musicians in your family and neighborhood as they practice their instruments.

We welcome you to our December high school holiday concerts: Parsippany High School on December 11 at 7:00 p.m. and Parsippany Hills High School on December 17 at 7:00 p.m.

Whether it be in the emergency services, helping those in need, or coaching our youth in athletic and academic activities, Parsippany is unique amongst large towns in the sheer amount of volunteerism our residents put in. If you’ve always wanted to get involved, the fresh possibilities that come with the 2020s may be the ideal time. So, reach out to your local fire department. Reach out to the Little League or PAL. Reach out to our local food pantry. Even a small contribution of money or time can make all the difference.

We’ll have cookies and hot chocolate to share with Santa, photo opportunities, and more! Everyone who joins us is encouraged to spread the holiday cheer and bring a donation for the Parsippany Food Pantry.

This month, many of us will be spending much-needed quality time with our families and closest friends. That’s what the holiday season is all about. But we shouldn’t forget those for whom the holidays are a time of loneliness, anxiety, or financial stress. So, while you’re wrapping presents in your ugliest holiday sweater, please remember to reach out to your friends, neighbors, coworkers, and others in your life to help them have a joyous season, too.

Trees for Troops, a program of the Christmas SPIRIT Foundation, provides free, farm-grown Christmas Trees to more than 70 military bases in the U.S. and overseas. Parsippany’s own Cerbo’s is participating in Trees for Troops for its second consecutive year. Join them on Sunday, December 8 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 December 2019

Come spin the dreidel and nosh on some latkes; Hanukkah is on its way! Our thriving Jewish community and the Township of Parsippany-Troy Hills are coming together to celebrate the Festival of Lights on Sunday, December 29 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Town Hall. We will be singing traditional songs, snacking on homemade treats, and celebrating coming together at the end of the year! Once again, we encourage everyone who is joining us to please bring a donation for the Parsippany Food Pantry.

Ahmed Kandil Recognized as Junior Achievement of NJ Educator of the Year The Junior Achievement of New Jersey held its Centennial Taste of the Decades event at their Headquarters, located in Edison, commemorating JA’s 100 years of service and celebrating their New Jersey Educator of the Year, Ahmed Kandil.

Ahmed Kandil, Business Education teacher at Parsippany Hills High School was recognized on Friday night as the Junior Achievement of New Jersey Educator of the Year.

Kandil was the only High School teacher represented on a committee developing the curriculum at KPMG’s Innovation Lab in New York City. Kandil facilitates his students’ involvement and participation in various JA enrichment activities, such as High School Heroes, Career and Job Shadowing, the Women’s Leadership Forum and the JA Titan Virtual Business competition, which students find to be priceless experiences. At Parsippany Hills High School, Personal Finance students partake in Junior Achievement Finance Park and find the field trip to be extremely beneficial.

Junior Achievement is an organization developed to inspire and prepare young people to succeed in a global economy. CCM Offers a Variety of Shows this Holiday Season After months of rehearsing, County College of Morris (CCM) students from the Music, Performing Arts and Music Technologies Department will be presenting various shows in December highlighting their skills and talents from dancing and singing, to music and acting.

The Winter Music Concert on Friday, December 6, at 7:30 p.m. is a musical delight. The CCM Concert Choir and Wind Ensemble bring the sounds of the season to life. Conductors include Chamber Choir Director Professor Marielaine Mammon and Wind Ensemble Directors Professors Bill Briggs and Rich Barrieres. The concert is free and open to the public and will be held at the Dragonetti Auditorium in the Student Community Center.

The dramatic play based on the classic and treasured movie “Miracle on 34th Street,” runs from December 12 through December 14, at 7:30 p.m. with a Saturday matinee at 2 p.m. Directed by Professor Marielaine Mammon, the beloved tale gives children young and old a chance to experience the joy and magic of believing. Performances take place in the Dragonetti

Auditorium with general admission seating. Tickets are $15.00 and $10.00 for CCM students, alumni, children under 12 and seniors 62 and older.

New and exciting works created by faculty, students and guest artists in the Dance Program will be featured in the “Dance Theatre First Look” workshop on Monday, December 16, and Tuesday, December 17, at 7:30 p.m. The concert will feature a wide variety of contemporary dance styles including a percussive reimagining of Nutcracker choreography, solo and group works and musical theatre dance.

Morris Arts offers two Scholarships to High School Seniors Morris Arts is pleased to offer two scholarship opportunities for graduating high school seniors who have exhibited artistic excellence in dance, drama, music, or visual arts and plan to pursue post-secondary studies at an accredited institution or acknowledged arts school or fine arts program. The Elaine Ehlers Arts Scholarship, in the amount of $5,000, and The Eugenie Coladarci Arts Scholarship, in the amount of $1,500, were created to recognize artistic excellence, encourage the artists of the future, and to celebrate the value of the arts to the human experience.

Morris County high school seniors graduating in June 2020 who are currently attending public, private, or parochial school in New Jersey are eligible. Applicants must: (a) be Morris County residents, (b) plan to pursue post-secondary studies at an accredited institution or acknowledged arts school or fine arts program, and (c) have demonstrated artistic excellence in any one of four (4) arts disciplines: dance, drama, music, or visual arts.

The Elaine Ehlers Arts Scholarship was established in 2002 in memory of Elaine Ehlers (1953-2001), a health-care administrator by profession, who had a voracious appetite for all things artistic and musical.

She derived intellectual and emotional sustenance from the arts and supported programs at many museums and musical institutions. By establishing this scholarship, an

enduring legacy has been created to reward those who possess artistic talent and who plan to further their arts education.

The Eugenie Coladarci Arts Scholarship was first awarded in 1999 in memory of Eugenie R. Coladarci, who was Vice President of Marketing and Public Relations at Chase Manhattan Bank and an active member of Morris Arts for eleven years. She was completing her first term as Board Chair when she passed away in 1997.

As a statewide champion of the arts, Gene encouraged the development of young artists and believed in the value of the arts to the quality of life. The idea of a scholarship to assist talented young people wishing to continue their study in the arts was very important to her.

Not every facility can accommodate an event this size, with dozens of live bands and DJs, family-oriented game and activity booths, food vendors, thousands of participants arriving daily, and, of course, all those classic generation-spanning cars.

When Mark Dickerson took over as the Complex Director of Sales & Marketing for the Hilton Parsippany (and its adjoining sister facility, the Hampton Inn Parsippany) a little over a year ago, the hotel was in the lower performance tier among the many hotel assets of its parent, Remington Hotels. Since then, Hilton Parsippany has vaulted to the very top of the list to become Remington’s #1 asset in a huge portfolio that includes other Hilton, Hyatt, Embassy Suites, and Hampton Inn locations.

When asked to explain the Hilton’s 180-degree turnaround, Mark points to a few things. Upon his arrival, the first thing he addressed was a re-evaluation of personnel. Mark is a big believer in the notion that everyone in the hotel service industry, from senior executives to the maintenance crew, is actually a member of the hotel’s sales team. When dealing with guests, Hilton employees have to realize that they are the very face of the hotel, and as such, must always go the extra mile to deliver on the hotel’s promise of the most professional and friendly service in the industry.

Accordingly, step one was to ensure that all Hilton Parsippany employees were all in on this philosophy.

Step two was to help the hotel leverage its premiere location in the heart of Morris County, just 30 minutes from NYC. To do that, a few things were obvious. For example, providing free shuttle service to and from the Morris Plains train station was a no-brainer, and a relatively easy accommodation for the hotel’s all-important business clientele throughout the work week. But to extend that success beyond the work week to become an essential weekend destination, the hotel needed to do more.

That “more” consisted of a few things. First, Mark had to renew the hotel’s long-term commitment to hosting wellknown community events, such as “Lead East,” the nation’s largest classic car and Rock ‘n’ Roll oldies event, now in its 37th year. Held every year on Labor Day Weekend, Lead 16 l Parsippany Focus Magazine

Similarly, the hotel renewed its relationship with the “Chiller” event, one of the largest Toy, Model, & Film Expos in the country. Held biannually in April and October (right around Halloween!), the Chiller Expo brings fans and collectors from all over the world to join famous television and film stars in celebrating fan favorites and cult hits from entertainment’s golden age to today. Recent “Chillers” have featured cast members from MacGyver, Beverly Hills 90210, and current CW hit, Riverdale.

Finally, Mark re-focused the hotel on becoming an integral member of the local community. Aside from employing nearly 160 good neighbors from Parsippany and its surrounding areas, Mark instinctively knew that it was imperative for the hotel to join the Parsippany Area Chamber of Commerce. As Mark remembers thinking, “How are we NOT a member of our local chamber? For a hotel struggling to create an image, joining the chamber is a must – a strong chamber is THE great image magnifier to the community, and they can’t promote you if they don’t even know you!”

Accordingly, in the very first week of his tenure, Mark picked up the phone and called PACC Executive Director Frank Cahill with a simple question: “What can I do?” As it turns out, the timing was perfect. The PACC Executive Member were just getting started with plans to re-launch TASTE of Parsippany, a once very successful social and networking event designed to show off the many and varied eateries sprinkled throughout Parsippany and its neighboring towns. After laying dormant for nearly a decade, the PACC Board had determined that the time was right to bring the TASTE event back, this time bigger than ever. Of course, the biggest obstacle to making TASTE a success was finding the right venue.

Enter Mark and the Hilton Parsippany! Without missing a beat, Mark and the PACC reached a simple agreement, and the 2019 TASTE of Parsippany event had found a home. And what a home it is! On the evening of September 9, 2019, the Hilton Parsippany and its staff welcomed dozens of vendors and hundreds of guests to the new and very much improved TASTE of Parsippany. The Hilton turned out to be a perfect venue, with ample room and electrical outlet access for the many food vendors that set up around the perimeter of a large ballroom, and even more room for the two dozen non-food vendors who operated booths just outside the main event hall. Hundreds of guests turned out

The Most Wonderful Time of the Year!

The Woman’s Club of Parsippany-Troy Hills (WCPTH) just held its annual Operation Candy/Cookie Meeting and packaged 277 tins with home-made holiday cookies and candy, along with 150 plus packets of holiday cards. The goodies were delivered to residents of The Country Home in Morris Plains, Morris View Health Care Center also in Morris Plains, The Firemen’s Home in Boonton, The Preakness Health Care Center in Wayne. VFW Post on Troy Road, the Morristown Mission and The Troy Hills Home in Parsippany.

Operation Cookie/Candy has been a project of New Jersey Women’s Clubs for over 50 years and is a club favorite. Another recent holiday project of the club was Operation Yellow Ribbon. Club members, friends, community members and co-workers filled 172 Christmas stockings with toiletries, games, snacks, telephone cards and other assorted goodies for members of the military serving overseas. These stockings were taken to the New Jersey State Federation of Women’s Clubs (NJSFWC) headquarters to be shipped with over 1,700 stockings filled by the other women’s clubs of NJSFWC. WCPTH club members will also be donating toys and gift cards to be distributed to children in the Dover area through the Adopt-AClass Head Start Community Program.

The club also supports the Wreaths Across America program by sponsoring several remembrance wreaths which will be used to Honor our veterans at the Denville Cemetery on December 14 where the wreaths will be laid upon the graves of our country’s fallen heroes.

Member of the Month’s Q&A of the Month Provided by Mark Dickerson, Hilton Parsippany Q: Do you have any driving sales or marketing philosophies that have consistently worked for you?

A: I can’t take credit for this one and I forget who first said it, but the one thing I find to be consistently true is the maxim that “you can’t sell the dream and service the nightmare.” Basically, this means that the sales and marketing leadership of every organization has to be on the same page as the organization’s operations team.

Otherwise, sales and marketing efforts can be doomed to fail by “overselling” the dream, in other words, promising something the operations folks either can’t, or won’t, deliver. Most often, this is simply due to a lack of communication between sales and operations. That is why, when I took over my role at Hilton Parsippany, my first order of business was to meet with all operations personnel throughout the hotel, and convince them that we are all part of the same team and that they should be out there on the front lines every day thinking of themselves as part of my sales team. It’s one thing for hotel staff to be trained to provide good service; but when you arm them with a completely different perspective and purpose, i.e., that they are part of a “sales” team, it’s so much more than just a mind-shift. It actually empowers and motivates them to go that extra mile in each and every interaction with our guests, and that is obviously invaluable.

Due to competition of newspapers in the late 90s, and a major newsprint shortage, Parsippany Focus decreased to a point where it was not profitable to publish. Focus ceased publication in 1996.

Wise Animal Rescue President Tiziana Wise also presented Cahill with a plaque congratulating the 30th Anniversary of Parsippany Focus.

Since then we have received many requests that Parsippany needs a “hometown” newspaper, that covers Parsippany news and events.

Due to the technology of the internet, we created www.parsippanyfocus.news for the people of Parsippany, to publicize the events that involve their everyday life. Birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, business briefs, honor rolls, club news, community announcements, school happenings (the same basic information the print version of Parsippany Focus featured from 1989 through late 1990s). “All Local, All Parsippany.”

Kiwanis Club collects over 2,200 pounds of food for Food Pantry The Kiwanis Club of Greater Parsippany with the assistance from Mountain Lakes High School Key Club, Parsippany High School Key Club, and Parsippany Hills High School Key Club teamed up and conducted a food drive at ShopRite, Parsippany on Sunday, November 24.

The team gathered eight overflowing shopping carts full of food for the Parsippany Food Pantry. That translates into about 2,200 pounds of food, worth approximately $3,600. In addition there was $340 in cash donations and $100 in gift cards.

Kiwanis Club of Greater Parsippany President Frank Cahill said “When I took the oath of office as President in October, one of my initiatives is to work with the Key Club on their goal of collecting food for the needy. We started in Parsippany and will continue throughout next year and collect as much food as needed.” The Key Club is comprised of passionate, hard working high schoolers dedicated to serving their homes, schools, and communities.

New Jersey District Key Club 2019-2020 teamed

up to galvanize awareness for hunger and poverty that are affecting our neighbors right here in New Jersey. You may not know it, but 1 in 8 people in New Jersey struggle with hunger – put that in the perspective of whichever school you attend, town in which you live, or activities in which you engage.

Hunger is a very real problem, but often overlooked, so we are giving Key Clubbers opportunities to engage with their communities to make a difference.

Nicola graduated Caldwell University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting.

She is currently working as a Financial Analyst at Emerson Automation Solutions in Florham Park.

Louis graduated Monmouth University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Managment.

He is currently working as the Branch Service Manager at Penske Truck Leasing in Parsippany, as well as owning his own landscaping company.

Louis is also serving as the Chief of the Parsippany Rescue & Recovery Unit.

A November 2020 wedding is planned.

Purple Stride New Jersey 2019 Pancreatic cancer is now the third leading cause of cancer death, surpassing breast cancer this year. With a five-year survival rate of only eight percent, it is one of the deadliest cancers.

The award-winning volunteer Northern New Jersey Affiliate of the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network is working to change this, to re-write the course of this cancer. PurpleStride New Jersey 2019 was a family-friendly, 5K, timed run and awareness walk that took place on Sunday, November 10, at the Mack-Cali Business Campus, One Campus Drive.

PurpleStride New Jersey 2019 was a powerful and inspiring day. Together over $537,000 was raised. Thanks to your amazing support, we have surpassed our fundraising goal! The event may be over, but we are still accepting donations for the cause.

Pancreatic cancer is the third leading cause of cancer-related deaths in the United States, with a five-year survival rate of just nine percent. In

5K Walk held at Mack Cali Campus order to save lives and double pancreatic cancer survival, PanCAN urges the New Jersey community to join PurpleStride. Funds raised through the event support critical research, clinical initiatives and patient services, including Know Your Tumor, Precision Promise, Clinical Trial Finder and Patient Registry.

In 2019, an estimated 56,770 people will be diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in the United States, and approximately 45,750 will die from the disease.

Risk factors for developing pancreatic cancer include family history of the disease, age, chronic or hereditary pancreatitis, smoking, obesity and long-standing diabetes.

These and other risk factors are still being investigated.

NewBridge Jobs Plus Technology Initiative Awarded $15K Major Grant from The Provident Bank Foundation NewBridge Services announced it received a Major Grant of $15,000 from The Provident Bank Foundation to support the technology initiative at NewBridge Jobs Plus, the longest-serving alternative education and jobs program in Morris County.

The grant will be used to upgrade the computer lab at NewBridge Jobs Plus, which since 1983 has helped young adults who drop out of high school get a second chance at success. NewBridge Jobs Plus participants will use new computers and related equipment to complete assessments, prepare for testing to earn their high school diplomas, build skills, and conduct job and career research.

“We are grateful to The Provident Bank Foundation for investing in the NewBridge Jobs Plus technology initiative,” said NewBridge CEO Robert L. Parker.

“With that support, young people can change their lives and become contributing members of their communities.”

Provident Bank Foundation Executive Director Jane A. Kurek presented NewBridge with a check at NewBridge Jobs Plus in Parsippany.

“The Provident Bank Foundation is honored to help further initiatives that are making a difference in the lives of residents in our local area,” Kurek said. “We are pleased to support organizations that contribute to a sense of community and offer a diverse set of programs that make people healthier, happier and safer.”

The goal of the Major Grant is to support organizations that have identified an immediate need in the community and for the individuals they serve.

The Provident Bank Foundation’s funding directly efforts to enhance the quality of life in the New Jersey and Pennsylvania communities served by Provident Bank through three Funding Priority Areas: Community Enrichment, Education, and Health, Youth & Families.

Kiwanis Key Club Members serve Thanksgiving Dinner to Senior Citizens at IHOP On Wednesday, November 27, six members of Parsippany High School Kiwanis Key Club: Michael Coles, Vidhi Patel, Aesha Shah, Ashmi Desai, Samman Pandey and Dea Ellis, along with Key Club Advisor Lindsay Hulin, Mayor Michael Soriano, Kiwanis Members Nicolas Limanov, Greg Elbin, Kiwanis Lieutenant Governor District 9 Carol Tiesi and Kiwanis Club of Greater Parsippany President Frank Cahill served dinner and distributed Apple or Pumpkin Pies to over one hundred Senior Citizens of Parsippany.

Every year, IHOP Parsippany hosts the senior citizens on Wednesday evening for a complimentary “Thanksgiving Dinner.” The dinner included delicious turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes and green beans.

The students first started seating the seniors, then took their beverage orders and delivered them a home-cooked meal. After the seniors were done with their dinner, the Key Club members cleaned the dining room, and set the tables for additional rounds of senior citizens until they served over one

hundred seniors.

We would like to thank Mo Abdelhadi, co-owner of IHOP for arranging and donating the dinners; Michele Picone, Director of Human Services, for arranging with the Senior Citizens; Greg Schneider-Director of Public Works for arranging the transportation of the Senior Citizens; Kimberly Polachek, Care-One for donating over one hundred apple and pumpkin pies; Mayor Michael Soriano for helping with serving and cleaning up with the Key Clubbers and the members of Kiwanis Club of Greater Parsippany for taking time out of their busy holiday schedule to help coordinate the event.

Kiwanis Club President Frank Cahill, presented a “Certificate of Appreciation” to each of the Key Club Members stating “On behalf of the members of Kiwanis Club of Greater Parsippany we thank you for being part of the Key Club and making a difference in our community.”

County College of Morris Art Gallery Presents the two New Jersey Artists in Exhibition The County College of Morris’ (CCM) Art Gallery is pleased to announce the latest exhibition, “Fragile Attachments and the Space for Repair,” featuring the works of two New Jersey artists, Alaine Becker and Gail Winbury.

The exhibition runs through January 27, 2020. The CCM Art Gallery is located in the Sherman H. Masten Learning Resource Center on CCM’s Randolph campus, 214 Center Grove Road. A reception, free and open to the public, will be held Thursday, December 12, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m.

The CCM Art Gallery is open Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

“Fragile Attachments and the Space for Repair,” examines and dissects the artists’ personal stories and traumas. Becker and Winbury create a new world in which bodies and emotions, spaces and memories are fragmented, chopped up, and reassembled into a new milieu that exists between real experiences and imagined scenarios. The world they portray is the world of women, their wrestling with aging and death, as well as discrimination,

stereotype, body image and sexuality.

Most of the pieces in “Fragile Attachments and the Space for Repair” are works on and with paper, unframed and fragile. Either executed in human scale or as intimate deconstructed and flattened dioramas, the works are pinned to the wall and left to hang. These delicate pieces are contrasted with large, bold canvases. This formal duality bleeds into the conceptual complexity of the works. The pieces effortlessly shift between figurative images and pure abstractions that resemble organic forms.

Whichever technique the artists decide to utilize, Becker and Winbury use it with appropriate combination of scientific precision and intuitive gesture.

Becker holds a BFA from The State University College at Purchase. She has been awarded The New Jersey State Council on the Arts Fellowship and a Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation Fellowship. She attended a residency in the Vermont Studio Center and the Virginia Center for Creative Arts. Among other venues, Becker exhibited in Ben Shahn Gallery at William Paterson University, Fairleigh Dickinson University, Sussex County Art Gallery, the Pierro Gallery in South Orange, The Drawing Rooms in Jersey City, The Paul Robeson Galleries at Rutgers University, The Visual Arts Center of New Jersey in Summit and Seton Hall University Law School in Newark. Winbury holds a Psy.D. from the Massachusetts School of Professional Psychology and studied painting at the School of Visual Arts.

She attended a residency at the School of Visual Arts, Manhattan and a Visual Art Fellowship at the Bau Foundation in Otranto, Italy.

Winbury received an Artist Residency in Arad, Israel from the Jewish Federation and a Castle Hill Center for the Arts residency in Truro, Massachusetts.

Her work has been seen in both the Jersey City and Trenton City Museums. She also has exhibited at the Village West Gallery, Drawing Rooms, Bethune Center and St. Peters University, The College of St. Elizabeth, William James College in Newton, Massachusetts and OTAContemporary in Santa Fe, New Mexico and other venues. Her work is collected in the United States and Europe.
