Class Notes 1909
The life of 1909 Tudor Hall graduate Janet Flanner, known by the nom de plume Genêt, is being celebrated in a play written by D. Paul Thomas. Indy Reads Books hosted a reading of “They Call Me Genêt” in September. Genêt wrote a column for The New Yorker entitled “Letter from Paris” from 1925-1975. While in Paris, she was a prominent member of the American expatriates, which included Ernest Hemingway, F. Scott Fitzgerald, e. e. cummings, Gertrude Stein and more.
1946
Virginia “Din” Obrecht Dulworth: Din’s granddaughter Lauren Virginia Albert made her television debut on the November 5th episode of “Criminal Minds” on CBS. Din is awaiting news from her classmates regarding their lives, grandchildren, etc. for the next issue of the Phoenix, due before mid-February 2015. 1971
Jane Maxwell Hulbert will be speaking in Istanbul to the Near East South Asia Council of Schools (NESA). Jane’s husband Jim Hulbert will accompany her. After Turkey they have been invited to speak at a much larger conference called EARCOS (East Asia Regional Council of Schools) which includes embassy schools, Department of Defense schools and over 300 other international schools in the East Asia region. They will be talking about child protection, policies and crisis communications.

Jeff Yingling was mentioned in Crain’s Chicago Business as one of the leading investment bankers in Chicago. Jeff has led JP Morgan’s Midwest invest banking since 2012.

Jen Pollack Bianco was named one of the Top 10 Best Travel Photography Bloggers for her blog, “My Life’s a Trip,” selected by the readers of USA Today.

1998
Katy Hebert married Kelley Ryan Bloom at La Playa in Naples, Florida on January 31, 2014. Many Park Tudor alumni and some faculty members attended the wedding.
2004
Alexandria Pruitt graduated in June 2014 with a Doctorate of Clinical Psychology with specific training in Pediatric Psychology. She completed a one-year residency at the Kennedy Krieger Institute of Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, working with children with medical conditions and their families. She is currently working at a Postdoctoral Fellowship at the Center for Eating Disorders in Towson, MD.
