assimo Bottura has established his voice both in and outside the kitchen. He is a speaker, author and charismatic leader. Chef Bottura has been recognized for his commitment in the fight against food waste. In 2016, he founded Food for Soul, a non-profit organization that creates social projects to empower communities in the fight food waste and social isolation. Food for Soul has opened six community kitchens in South America and Europe. Among his many accomplishments is a second restaurant in Modena; a line of balsamic vinegars and olive oils; and two books: Never Trust a Skinny Italian Chef and Bread is Gold, proceeds of which go to Food for Soul.
