The HPL decks come with a thickness of 18 mm, a very high wearing strength and a unique KOMPAN non-skid surface texture.

Our STEEL surfaces and steel frames consist of a hot-dip galvanised inside and outside with lead-free zinc according to global safety standards for playground equipment. The galvanisation has excellent corrosion resistance in outside environments and is maintenance free.

Rope

Robinia wood

ROPES come with galvanised six-stranded steel wires and a steel core, impossible to wear through. Each strand is tightly wrapped with PES yarn, which is melted onto each individual strand, making the ropes highly wear and vandalism-resistant.

ROBINIA wood is a very strong and long-lasting material with a very high level of natural oils. Thus Robinia wood makes very durable playgrounds which are close to maintenance free and able to last for many years.

Warranty coverage

Products installed near water

This warranty applies to KOMPAN’s products for the time periods described for each product type above and with the limitations described in this warranty. The ZDUUDQW\ SHULRG DSSOLHV IURP WKH GDWH RI SXUFKDVH E\ WKH ¿UVW FXVWRPHU 7KLV warranty covers only defects in materials. KOMPAN’s liability under this warranty is limited to repair or replacement of defective products, without charge, at KOMPAN’s discretion. Defective electronic components will be delivered and changed by a KOMPAN ICON Professional installer free of charge.

Products installed in direct contact with chlorinated water or saltwater (Waterparks), or products installed with occasional contact with such water or installed so close to the shore they are subjected to salt spray are not covered by the KOMPAN warranty for any defects caused by corrosion. Standard products installed in coastal areas, within 200 metres from the shore, will only be covered by the warranty for half the period of the standard product warranty in relation to defects caused by corrosion. KOMPAN’s LIFETIME warranty, if applicable, is limited to a 5-year warranty in relation to such products.

The warranty only applies if KOMPAN’s products have been installed according to the instructions provided by KOMPAN, and maintained correctly according to the KOMPAN Maintenance Manual. No coverage for accidents, wear, tear, cosmetic issues, misuse or vandalism This warranty does not cover any damage caused by accident, improper care, negligence, normal wear and tear, surface corrosion on metal parts, discoloured surfaces and other cosmetic issues or failures due to misuse or vandalism. Natural changes in wood over time are considered cosmetic issues and not covered.

RECYCLED PLASTIC The KOMPAN EcoCoreTM panel, made of layers of HDPE, has many applications in playgrounds and RXWGRRU ¿WQHVV VXFK DV VLGHV URRIV DQG VHDWV ,W is a highly durable, eco-friendly panel, which is not only recyclable after use, but also consists of a core produced from 100% recycled, controlled material.

NO WASTE In the workshop, material usage is optimised, and the rest is recycled. For example the cutting-out process of panels is computer generated in order to minimise residue. 7KLV OLNH HYHU\ RႇFXW RI SODVtic, every speck of sawdust is gathered and recycled.

BALANCING & CLIMBING So basic, yet so important A somersault or a stepping pod may not look like much, but when children play on them, they are two of the best contributors to child development throughout childhood. Balancing helps train the eyesight and the child’s ability to concentrate. Two very basic skills that both improves children’s readiness for school and their performance when going to school. The traditional look makes it the preferred design in many playground settings. KOMPAN’s classic swings can be constructed with as many sections as you want. All swings in KOMPAN’s assortment can be used, and the standard swing seat and baby seat can come with anti-wrap clamps to prevent the chains from turning. The swings come in two heights – 2 metres for pre-school children and 2.5 metres for school-age children
