Transforming our student experience Park University, under new leadership, has strategically proposed the McAfee Memorial Library return to its original home in a completely remodeled Norrington Center as a state-of-the-art Academic Commons focused on access to information through technology.

A highly flexible floor plan with fewer walls will enable the space to adapt to new uses and technology over time, and will also foster a sense of community for the students, faculty and staff.

As an Academic Commons, there will be a variety of spaces to support various learning preferences such as collaborative study areas, a technology-rich classroom featuring mobile furniture and white board tables, as well as a centralized coffee shop and cafĂŠ providing a great place to grab a coffee or a sandwich in between classes or while studying.
