Counseling services are provided in each of our three divisions (Lower School, Middle School and Upper School) by a full-time licensed counselor specific to the division. Counselors are available to students, parents, faculty and staff to offer support and guidance. The counselor in each division provides personal counseling to individuals, serves as a resource for social and emotional concerns, conducts classes and/or small groups, provides parent education and makes referrals to off-campus professionals and agencies.

Inclusive

Episcopal Identity

As a Christian school firmly rooted in the Episcopal tradition, Parish is an inclusive community grounded in respect and honor for each of our members. The breadth of religious traditions represented by our families/students provides many opportunities to foster mutual learning about a variety of faith traditions

Academic Student Support Services

The purpose of the academic assistance program at Parish is to ensure that each individual student’s learning needs are addressed to help meet the unique and vigorous challenges of the Parish curriculum with success and a sense of competence. Parish Lab is an additional resource for 3rd through 12th grade students to develop their mindsets, learning styles, strengths and practice study skills through application and exploration. Parish Link can assist families by connecting parents and students to qualified, fully screened academic coaches.

Tuition Assistance

In keeping with our mission to foster an inclusive Episcopal community, Parish seeks to attract and maintain a diverse and talented student body, including students from diverse socio-economic backgrounds. As such, the School is committed to making a Parish education both accessible and affordable. Parish’s tuition assistance philosophy is based on the principle that each family contributes to their student’s tuition to the extent they are financially able. No family should assume that a Parish education is out of reach solely for financial reasons.

Care and Response

The Care and Response Committee addresses the emotional and spiritual needs of the community in the event of an impending or recent crisis. The committee serves as the first management team for coordinating efforts as crisis occur.

Assistant Heads of Student Life Pathways

The Assistant Heads of Student Life have a key role in building community within each division. They work with divisional administration and faculty to create and conduct a variety of activities and programming, including our advisory program. Advisory programming focuses on building community, extoling our Parish tenets, and helping students find where they belong at Parish

A collection of varied opportunities for members of the Parish community designed to promote belonging through cultural competence, civil dialogue and purposeful action.

ParishServes
