We would like to welcome the players, commi ee and supporters of WT Birkalla to the Paddocks today for Round 9 of the 2023 State League1, We hope you enjoy your day.

This being Anzac day we take a moment to pause and reflect on those that fought for our country, we salute you and thank you greatly.

Another tough game of football awaits us today as we try to cement our place at the top of the table. The League is tough and there are many quality teams to ba le against on the park. All we can do is go out and focus on the task at hand, having confidence in Theo and the boys to play well.

With some great results and a couple of bad ones over the last few weeks, it becomes a bit of a surprise package as to how we play. None the less, we support our coach and our players through thick and thin, so lets get loud and let them know we are behind them.

Dear Para Hills Knights Family

I would like to take this opportunity to officially welcome you to the Paddocks and acknowledge all players, coaches, volunteers, commi ee members and sponsors past and present for their  reless work and commitment to the club.

As we move forward it is important that we con nue to look forward and set our goals for the future, to seek to leave an ongoing legacy, whilst respec ng and acknowledging our past achievements and accomplishments. We are ac vely striving to build on our solid founda on, to improve our processes and look to develop a sustainable model to lead us to future progress.

As part of this process we must acknowledge our strong Para Hills Knights club values and principles, which came about through the dedica on and hardwork of parents, players, coaches and commi ee members of the past. It is these principles we must honour as we seek to move forward as a club. One of the most prominent aspects of the club has been loyalty. It has always been the heart of the club and as such forms the basis of our club’s mo o “One club one vision”.

PLAYING STATEMENT

The Para Hills Knights Soccer Club is one that stands out for its display of RESPECT, LOYALTY and PRIDE. It is a club that cap vates us all with the passion, energy and emo on of our players and supporters. Our trademark fast, a acking style of football is made all the more powerful with the support of the unwavering loyalty and respect that is echoed in the club's philosophy. Our mo o "One Club one Vision" is one of unity. We support our own. As such we place emphasis on promo ng our players, as well as providing them with opportuni es in elite and community pathways.

On the pitch, we have looked to con nue to promote players from within our club, with a number of younger players very close to making their first senior appearance. We have also recruited players who we feel will contribute to the club’s philosophy and principles as we seek to build on our performances.

I look forward to seeing how far we can take this young and exci ng group of players with the guidance of their leader Adam Save a.

On a finishing note, I would like everyone to understand that though players, volunteers and management staff  will always come and go, the club’s values will always remain. The ques on I put to all of you is.... How do you want to be remembered?

Once again, I thank each and every one of you all for your ongoing support. It is very much appreciated by us all.
