ENCHANTED wreath Create a 'stag-gering' decoration to add sparkle to your home

Christmas is all about illuminating your home with an array of bright twinkling lights, and that's exactly what you get with this beautiful project. Sarah Jackman Read has designed a truly impressive stag wreath, inspired by woodland and nature. The decoration is super easy to make, as it is formed of tiny die-cut foliage pieces and white LEDs.

1 YOU WILL NEED: Craft essentials (see p92) Xcut Woodland Stag Wreath dies Tattered Lace Bright Heart craft lights Punch: petal 3D clear gloss Cardboard box

Die cut a 16cm diameter circle from a cardboard box, then a smaller circle through the centre to create a frame. Repeat with another piece and glue them together. Die cut six pieces of wreath foliage in dark green card then glue around the cardboard circle so the leaves overlap the outside edge. Repeat with a lighter colour and stick around the circle slightly inside from the green foliage. Wrap the lights carefully around the wreath. Fix the battery pack to the back

2 3

of the cardboard with a strip of green card, and tape any excess wire down. Add a loop of ribbon to the top. Die cut a variety of foliage and sprigs from various colours and glue around the wreath, hiding any wires on show. Colour the berries on the sprigs with a pink marker. Cover each one with a dot of 3D gloss and leave to dry. Punch out small flowers, place around the wreath then glue in place. Add silver gems to the centres.

Glue a sheet of tissue or decorative paper to it, making sure that it is stuck down completely. Using a scalpel and a cutting mat, cut around the outside lines of the box. Make sure not to cut into the folding lines. Use a ruler and one side of a pair of scissors to score along all the internal folding lines before erasing any pencil marks.
