My Dream Job Is A Successful Software Engineer

Most people imagine their dream job is to become a famous actor or a job they have seen done many times. Though because of the progression of technology I feel I would be more suited in a field involving computers. My dream job is to become a successful software engineer because I have always been into computers systems but can I fit this job, is the career life something I can manage and what opportunities should I go after when becoming a software engineer. Each time I notice how a program is used I wonder how can I make it become faster or more efficient. When you are using your cellphone ore iPad there is usually an update at least every month. This is because apple is improving the speed of your applications. A software engineer is sometimes overlooked straight to the company but without software engineer's applications would either crash or would not improve. Although most people may feel looking at acomputer all day and trying to fix it is boring, I find it challenging and interesting because I'm creating something of my own. While I do socialize and can work well with the general public I myself like to be behind a computer or video game system looking at the coding. Can I fit into being a software engineer? I think about this everyday I am in school studying computers. As I was looking up what it is to be a software engineer I came across a test about how I would do if I were to go into this field. The results came to me after 10 questions and show I would fair in

My dream job when I get out of highschool and college is to become an architect. This would be a great job I feel as I did an interview with an architect about a week and a half ago and I seemed to like everything he was telling me about the career as an architect, especially when talking about the life of an architect and asking if he has to do a lot of work outside of the office. He replied by saying if he does not finish a project he will have work to do at home that night which seems perfectly fine to me as I find the Pre–Architecture class very fun and enjoyable to the point where I go home to finish up on my work so I am sort of already used to that mentality. I do know an architect who lives about a quarter mile down the road from my house, I do not know him personally as we are not close together, but only know him because he is the dad of my sister's friend. Many of the bigger schools in America offer degrees in architecture like Carnegie Mellon, Penn State, University of Maryland, and Drexel are among some of the bigger schools with an architecture program around. One industry that I find very interesting to me and have jobs in the architecture field is with the US Army Corps of Engineers. To become an architect you need a bachelor's degree and two years of professional experience as a trainee architect and architect's assistant. To become an architect I need to first completehigh school, once I do that I will attend college majoring in architecture earning my Get

My Dream To Become An Electrical Engineer

Everyone must make a choice, once they reach a certain age, that will determine everything in their life. My dream job is to become an electrical engineer one day because I find interest in circuits and building electronic devices. When I was a young boy my dream not to be an electric engineer but something more along the lines of being a cook; however, that dream was short lived because my interest of being able to cook changed over as I got older and became interested in electronics. The way electronics work is simply amusing to me because I could not understand how the devices were operating, and honestly I still may not understand how these devices actually work. My backup plan for my future career would have to be becoming a...show more content...

Classes that I will need to take in order to achieve my goal of being an electric engineer are courses in mathematics and physics. Math classes that I will need to take are calculus, algebra, and trigonometry (summary). My main interest is electrical engineering and all of these things do sounds quiet good, except the drop in employment rate in 2014, but my interest also lies in mechanical engineering which is not all too different. Mechanical engineering is not too different from electrical engineering in the sense that they both have to do with creating tools and many other things; however mechanical engineering has more to do with building things like cars and elevators than phones, or light bulbs. Being able to find a job after graduating from college is always something that should be worried about; however, the employment rate for mechanical engineers are increasing and is expected to increase by 5% in the next few years (summary). The median annual play for a mechanical engineer in 2016 was $84,190. A person only needs a bachelor's degree to start their work as a mechanical engineer (Summary). For mechanical engineering I would need classes like mathematics, physics, life, design and engineering (Summary). These things are also very convenient for me since I enjoy math and physic, but like I stated earlier everything has its own pros and cons. Electrical engineering has plenty of pros because I find Get more content

"The jury has made their decision, the plaintiff has been found guilty." These are the words that one day I will finally hear. My future goal is to be a lawyer. A lawyer is a professional person authorized to practice law. They defend or prosecute people for the crimes they have committed. Being a lawyer means that there are many responsibilities to carry out. It takes a great deal of timing and patience to finish the job, which I'm sure I can handle. Being a lawyer can be a tough job to work on. All you have to do is work as much as you can to succeed on the case. A beginning lawyer makes about $25,000–$128,000 a year. My Dream Job For many years since I was young I had the passion to be a police officer, I wanted to be that hero who I seen on television that saved everybody from danger and harm but little did I know it wasn't as easy as television made it come out to be. As my school days passed I finally came to a conclusion of what I wanted my life to be like. High school was the turning point where I no longer wanted to be a police officer anymore, I grew knowledge of better opportunities for me and being a police officer just wasn't enough for me. Family attorneys are also called divorce and family practice lawyers, it's a shame how "Forty to fifty percent of all marriages in the United States end in divorce" but that's just my opinion. The process of a divorce with no fault came to effect in 1969 when "California was the first state to legalize no–fault divorce. In 2010, New York was the last of the fifty states to approve it. No–fault divorce does not require any evidence of wrong–doing on the part of either spouse. Although divorce is a difficult emotional decision, in terms of the law, it can easily be granted under a no–fault divorce ruling". A divorce lawyer 's responsibility is to separate the assets and debt between the spouses, if children are involved the lawyer helps set the terms for child support and custody. Divorce lawyers must have excelling unique skills as a attentive listener because decisions made in and out of court will greatly affect the client 's life. There aren't any specific education requirements for family lawyers although some courses are advised but passing the bar exam and attending law school is compulsory. Salaries for family attorneys can range from $48,000 to $80,000 and as they build their reputation their hourly rate and salary could most likely increase. Astronomy : My Goals In Life, My Dream Career

The study of celestial objects, space, and the physical universe as a whole, also known as Astronomy. That's my goal in life, my dream career. It'd be an honor to work for the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) and have any type of involvement with them. Something I've wanted and was sure of at the age of 12. I know that, in order to be an astronomer, I need more understanding of the science field and further knowledge. I know that, for this type of career, there will be further more years into this but in the end it'll be all worth it. Once with a degree, which I'm still indecisive which will be the best for me, I'll be very proud of myself for getting that far. My goal has always been to successfully graduate, receive my high school diploma and to attend a two year college. Later on, I will transfer to a University for the rest of my college years. Since Astronomy is my dream career, I will take classes relating to this subject, filling in the years that I didn't take.

In order to achieve these goals, I really have to dedicate all my time on my education. Something that I really don't mind because at the end, it'll all be worth it. Staying dedicated is key. Something that I love about myself is that I'm ready to learn and ready to try my best.I can proudly say that I'm content with my academic achievements, and scores. Since i was in kindergarden, I've always had good grades. Nothing has changed and I hope it stays that way. College is going to be a

My Dream Career Of A Criminal Investigator

During my career analysis I learned a lot about my dream job, some good things and some bad. Over all my passion on becoming a detective or criminal investigator became stronger and more intriguing. To become a criminal investigator I will have to receive my bachelors in science and have experience in law enforcement. Apolice detective does not need to go to college but it is highly recommended, the training people need to become detectives is commonly received at the police academy. The average wage of someone in the criminal justice field is around 58 thousand dollars (United States Department of Labor ). A detective can retire after twenty to twenty–five years on the job, what I have read is the retirement of a police detective is a very controversial area. Criminal justice field is a very dangerous career which means there is a lot of policies put in play to keep employers and civilians safe. Policies are made to keep other people safe as well as yourself. Every choice made is closely examined to insure you followed every policy correctly. A huge critical issue today is the controversy between citizens hating law enforcement, most of that hatred is because they do not agree with criminal justice policies. Criminal justice is one of the hardest jobs in the world because of the ethics involved with the job. After all of the research into the criminal justice system I became more intrigued in the career. There are so many reasons why I picked criminal justice as

Finding a job that someone actually enjoys and wants to do for the rest of their life is not an easy task. Everyone tends to have their "dream" job that they want some day, but what if they get the job and end up dreading going to work every day. People should get the opportunity to experience or shadow what they want to do for a real job before they commit to it. Lucky for me, I got a seek peak at the profession I want to go into after college. I got to see if it is really something I want to do and would enjoying going to work every day. She was telling me about some of their well–known campaigns to promote Toppers. She was talking about how much work goes into making the campaigns interest the public and want to support them. As a marketing person, Bridget must know how to present the campaigns and ad to make sure the public also knows about it. Having awareness and support are two of the most important things when it comes to a campaign. One part of the job that I did not really know about was that how closely you work with customers. With the public relations aspect, they want to communicate with customers as much as possible. Whenever some comments on something that happens, positive or negative, they want to respond to show that they care what people are saying. It is important to show customers that you are a company that reads customers' comments and concerns and change things if need be. One part of the job I liked about this job was all the different ways to get campaign ideas. Vetter was telling me about one campaign that dealt with creating new pizzas. She said that they had real customers submit pizza ideas and then had taste tests to figure out what ones the public liked. Campaigning seems like such a fun and interesting part that I cannot wait to start doing it. It blows my mind how you can use your own ideas and it is not frowned upon to use the public to help you think of something too. A negative aspect of the job was

There wouldn't be any discrimination I would walk large, small, long hair, short hair dogs everyone is welcome; how great it would be no back talk or unwanted opinions just me and these wonderful fur babies, out and about getting some fresh air and exercise. "One of the most important things our dogs need to live happy, well balanced lives is to exercise. Sometimes it can be hard to give yourdog a walk every day because we work long hours and then when we come home, the last thing we feel like doing is going for a walk. There is a solution to both give your dog the exercise she needs and alleviate your guilt from not being able to walk her properly, hire a professional dog walker!"(Cary,J 2013) Every dog is different though senior, small and short legged dogs would be good with 15–20 minute walks, whereas more active, younger dog breeds could use more. Having no dress code is a big plus too I could go in my sweatpants and holey tee–shirt and no one would judge or criticize. And to get paid for this, that's just a bonus. My Dream Job

Before I explain my dream job I need to give a little background information on myself. I was born into a family of adrenaline junkies. I've had a very interesting life of adventure and joy. However, one of the most exciting things we did was go to amusement parks. I could honestly be a carnival worker because of how regularly we went to these parks. A couple of years ago I had an internship at Silver Dollar City. My basic duties were to get coffee for the other HR representatives in the office. However, I also worked in the park doing ride operations in Fireman's landing. While there, I realized how much I adore working in an atmosphere that made kids happy. Just watching kids and adults smile and laugh together while on the ride just warmed my heart. I grasped those feelings tightly as I began my first semester of college. Now, after reflecting on where I've been and where I want to go now, my dream job would be working as an animal trainer at SeaWorld. Contrary to common belief, SeaWorld is always looking for individuals to be animal trainers. To be considered for a trainer position, applicants must have a college degree of some sort. The company prefers degrees focused on animal or Sociology and psychology. For me, this would be great job because I love animals and being around kids. One of the most prominate animal training institution in the United States is The SeaWorld Company. This company is a major power house focused on bringing animals and people closer

I envision my dream job being a lawyer for many reasons. I would like to be a lawyer because I like to argue my point and look for evidence. For example, I get really competitive when I debate with my brothers about politics and logic. It is really fun for me to back up my topics with logic and facts. I like the feeling I get when I already know what I am going to say and I have the facts and logic to prove it. I would also like to be a lawyer because I get to help my clients' cases. Additionally, I love thinking critically and using clues to come to a conclusion. Ever since I was a little kid, I loved thinking about things in a critical and/or different way. I also loved the idea of being a detective that would look for clues. I even read stories and watched shows where the detective would come to a conclusion and back it up with facts. I really loved how the detective would blow everyone away with the evidence he found. I also loved when the detective would think in different ways about the clues and retrace his steps if he came to a false conclusion. I picture myself to be a lawyer because lawyers argue and support their point, help their clients, and think critically. I will become a lawyer by following many procedures. One of which will be to ask questions to role models and other lawyers about how they got to where they are now. For example, I could choose to follow in Phil Beck's footsteps and observe how he does things. It is always nice to have a role model because Get

Climbing into the cockpit of your assigned F–22 or any other aircraft you may be assigned to for your first big mission is probably the best feeling in the world. Once this mission is accomplished you feel complete as not a person, but as an aviator. This is what you worked the past five to ten years of your life for. You worked for this very moment to not only be able to serve your country but to be able to serve in a very beautiful way. Being an aviator not only requires skill but it requires finesse; it is a work of art. Being able to soar in the skies like a rabid eagle on steroids that is both armed and armored to the teeth is enough for me but I guess the downtime is cool too. The hard work has paid off and it is time for the good stuff. Getting paid to travel the world just can not be beaten. What's the fun in paying hundreds of bucks for a ticket when in the military you can either fly yourself or get flown there for free?
