BIOGRAPHY
I was born in Battipaglia, Italy, in 1978, and I now live in Munich, Germany. Photography is a way of life for me: a way to capture fleeting moments and give value to what often goes unnoticed. I love thinking outside the box, using both traditional techniques and experimental approaches such as high contrast and infrared to transform the ordinary into the extraordinary. In my work, architecture, landscapes, and documentary projects find balance and authenticity, inviting viewers to discover the world through my lens. My work has been exhibited in shows across Europe and in collaborative projects that reflect my refined and personal style.
Sono nato a Battipaglia, in Italia, nel 1978, e oggi vivo a Monaco di Baviera, in Germania. La fotografia è per me uno stile di vita: un modo per fermare istanti fugaci e dare valore a ciò che spesso passa inosservato. Amo pensare fuori dagli schemi, utilizzando sia tecniche tradizionali sia sperimentazioni come l’alto contrasto e gli infrarossi, per trasformare l’ordinario in straordinario. Nel mio lavoro, architetture, paesaggi e progetti documentaristici trovano equilibrio e autenticità, invitando l’osservatore a scoprire il mondo attraverso il mio obiettivo. Le mie opere sono state esposte in mostre in tutta Europa e in collaborazioni artistiche che rispecchiano il mio stile raffinato e personale.
ARTIST STATEMENT
Infrarealism – Whispers in Pink
In the series Whispers in Pink, part of my artistic journey “Infrarealism,” the visible world merges with a more intimate and imaginary dimension. In these six images, I reveal the hidden magic of Munich’s English Garden through 700nm infrared photography: a technique sensitive to light beyond the visible spectrum, capable of transforming perception and opening windows onto a secret world.
The dominant pink envelops vegetation and architecture, turning them into suspended memories, visual whispers filled with silence and delicacy. Architectural lines become ethereal stage sets where reality and imagination intertwine, and the chromatic tones create an atmosphere poised between dream and perception. These works were born from the desire to reveal what the naked eye cannot see, giving voice to subtle nuances and hidden emotions. Here, color is not merely an aesthetic choice but a language that speaks of fragility and strength, stillness and motion. Whispers in Pink is an invitation to slow down the gaze and listen to what the city sometimes whispers.
Infrarealism – Whispers in Pink
Nella serie Whispers in Pink, parte del mio percorso artistico “Infrarealismo”, la realtà visibile si fonde con una dimensione più intima e immaginaria. In questi sei scatti rivelo la magia nascosta del Giardino Inglese di Monaco attraverso la fotografia a infrarossi a 700nm: una tecnica sensibile alla luce oltre lo spettro visibile, capace di trasformare la percezione e aprire finestre su un mondo segreto.
Il rosa dominante avvolge vegetazione e architettura, trasfigurandole in memorie sospese, sospiri visivi carichi di silenzio e delicatezza. Le linee architettoniche diventano scenografie eteree, dove il reale e l’immaginario si intrecciano, e i toni cromatici creano un’atmosfera in bilico tra sogno e percezione.
Questi lavori nascono dal desiderio di rivelare ciò che l’occhio nudo non può vedere, dando voce a sfumature silenziose e a emozioni latenti. Il colore, qui, non è un semplice elemento estetico ma un linguaggio che suggerisce fragilità e potenza, quiete e movimento. Whispers in Pink è un invito a rallentare lo sguardo e ad ascoltare ciò che la città, a volte, sussurra.
