Some have a good impact, they are able to fully integrate into the urban environment and benefit the area through areas such as economics, adaptivity, transportation, etc. But there are many that do not accomplish this.

EVER SEEN A TOMB INSIDE A SPORTS STADIUM?
JAWAHARLAL NEHRU STADIUM, A MASSIVE SPORTS ARENA BUILT WITH MUCH DEDICATION IN 1982, HOUSE OF TINY DOME STRUCTURES. NO ONE REALLY KNOWS ITS STORY, EXCEPT THAT THE ARCHITECTURE LOOKS LIKE IT BELONGS TO THE LODI ERA, AND THAT IT WAS IN AN UTTER RUINOUS CONDITION WHEN IT WAS FIRST FOUND.
STORY STARTED AS PERSONAL DILEMMA ON THE VISIT TO JAWAHARLAL NEHRU SPORTS COMPLEX,FOR SOME EVENT GOING ON INSIDE THE COMPLEX- HUNAAR HAAT!
WALKING AROUND THE MAIN STADIUM, I ENCOUNTER SOME OLD STRUCTURE OF BYGONE ERA, CALLED TOMB. I WAS SURPRIZED TO SEE TOMB INSIDE A SPORTS STADIUM. THEN GOT TO KNOW THAT.THERE ARE THREE MONUMENTS INSIDE THE STADIUM OUT OF WHICH THE PHOOTA GUMBAD STANDING JUST NEXT TO THE STADIUM ITSELF IS THE MOST FAMOUS.
To combine or intrepret elements or particular styles from different time periods and different origins within a single project in a rather harmony like manner, conceptual cohesive connectivity.
ARCHED OCTAGONAL DOME
ARCHES FROM TOMBS OF LODHI ERA,HAS TAKEN IN AS INSPIRATION FOR DESIGN OF ADAPTIVE EXHIBITION SPACE.
FLAT GREEN PLAINS
GREEN PLAINS WHETHER IT IS LANDSCAPE OR WARMUP AREA FOR ATHLETES , ARE PART OF SITE. THESE FLAT LANDS ARE INSPIRATION FOR GREEN ROOF. GREEN ROOF BLENDS WITH HUGE GREEN PLAINS, GIVE A SCENE FOR MINIMAL BUILDUP.
THE CONSTRUCTION MATERIAL OF MAIN STADIUM IS MILD STEEL, HAS INSPIRED THROUGH THE MAKING OF ATRIUM AND ENTRACE PORCH OF MUSEUM.
The chunk of land where development plan is proposed is parking space for stadium visitors.
Space is also used for empheral events on site.but on a regular day,it considered as dead edge of stadium.
For Parking requirement, special parking for stadium is already planned,on the back side of Substation.
For empheral events, special provision is given in site planning.
