Explora Journeys is the new luxury lifestyle travel brand launched by the MSC Group with the ambition to redefine the luxury cruise category.

The concept: Vibrant, cosmopolitan, relaxed European luxury at sea. Instead of cruises, we create journeys – of the mind, and across the oceans of the world.

Visits to places on and off the beaten track.

On board: Spaces that offer guests relaxed luxury, creating a home at sea. Restoring life’s essential balance with a combination of discovery and appreciation for wellbeing and nature. This is what our new discerning travellers have asked for and this is what they will enjoy on Explora Journeys.

Our name – Explora Journeys – is inspired by our PA S S I O N for exploration and discovery, alongside an inherent R E S P E CT for the seas and oceans of the world.

It’s why our M O D E R N , elegant brand logo subtly reflects the curves and M OV E M E N T of the sea and waves.

An integral element of the logo and brand is the Explora Journeys M A N DA L A – designed by Alexa Aponte-Vago, CFO of the MSC Group, daughter of founder Gianluigi Aponte and wife of Chairman Pierfrancesco Vago.

With deep roots in spirituality, the mandala pattern represents a journey of personal discovery and fulfilment. Illustrations of the lotus flower symbolise purity of body, speech and mind, while a nod to the fleur-de-lis represents humility and a clear connection to our European heritage.

With unrivalled space and privacy – and service that means everything is taken care of – our guests can relax into their comfortable homes at sea with their luggage delivered and a chilled bottle of champagne waiting as they undertake their ocean journey.
