Diamond Express FAQ What is the Diamond Express Profit Sharing Pool program?

The Diamond Express Profit Sharing Pool is a program designed to help Diamond distributors earn additional compensation and share their expertise with others. In it, Diamond leaders earn shares of a 0.5 percent pool of Young Living’s monthly commissionable sales. By fulfilling certain requirements, leaders can earn varying compensation of this pool as long as they are paid at the rank of Diamond or higher.

How do I become part of Diamond Express?

When you are paid as a Diamond or higher rank, you are automatically entered into the program. However, the amount that you earn in the program can vary depending on your paid-as rank and your participation in the program.

How many shares of the profit sharing pool do I receive?

Diamond leaders qualify for one share; Crown Diamond leaders qualify for two shares; and Royal Crown Diamond leaders qualify for three shares of the profit sharing pool.

The amount of each share that is paid out depends on global commissionable sales, the number of paid-as Diamond leaders for a calendar month, and meeting requirements during the 12-month qualifying period.

Does the 12-month qualifying period begin each January?

That depends on when you first qualify as a Diamond-ranked distributor. The 12-month qualification period starts during the first month when you are paid at the Diamond or higher rank and resets each anniversary. For example, if you are paid as a Diamond in March, you will begin the Diamond Express program on March 1, and that would also be your anniversary date.

This is my first year as a Diamond, so I haven’t had time to accumulate points. Can I still earn a share of the profit pool?

Although as a new Diamond you did not qualify the year before, Young Living will pay you 100 percent of your share(s) during your first year as a Diamond. The points that you then accumulate during that first year will determine the percentage of the share earned the following 12-months.

For example, if you are paid as a Diamond in March of 2013, you will receive 100 percent of your single share each month you qualify to be paid as a Diamond for 12 months. If during the first year you earn 80 points, then you will be paid 80 percent of your share(s) each month you are paid as a Diamond for the next 12-month period.

How do I earn points during the 12-month qualifying period?

Members can earn the full share of the profit pool by earning 100 points during the 12-month qualification period.

Points are earned by completing the following requirements: • Host international training events, maximum of three events (20 points each) • Host domestic training events, maximum of six events (10 points each) • Attend the annual International Grand Convention (10 points) • Attend the global leadership event or a regional leadership event if the global event is not held (10 points) • Attend a harvest or planting (10 points)

For each of these requirements, members will earn points that will add to their 12-month total, up to a maximum of 100 points. The point total is then converted into a percentage, and the member will be paid that percentage of his or her share the following 12-month period.

What is the maximum number of points that I can earn through holding training events?

We encourage you to hold as many meetings as you can manage. However, the maximum number of points you can earn through training events is 90 points. You can do this using different combinations of either international or domestic events; however, you can only count a maximum of three international events and six domestic events, never totaling more than 90 points.

For example, you cannot earn 100 points by doing three international events and four domestic events. Instead, three international events and three domestic events (totaling 90 points) would be counted toward your qualification.

When will I receive payments from the Diamond Express Profit Sharing Pool bonus?

Payments will be made on a monthly basis as long as you are paid as a Diamond.

If I do not qualify to be paid as a Diamond for a month, will I still be paid the Diamond Express bonus?

No. You will only be paid the bonus if you are paid at the rank of Diamond or higher.
