Top Compartment

Think of the Top Compartment as your toaster oven. It’s just like a regular oven—but smaller, so it heats up more quickly. The Top Compartment heats from the top and bottom without a fan, so breading and lighter foods won’t move around. It’s perfect for baking recipes that don’t rise much, cooking side dishes, broiling, and making flat foods like toast and pizza. Because it heats more gently than an air fryer, crusts and baked goods won’t dry out.

Bottom Compartment

The Bottom Compartment is your air fryer.

In this compartment, you can make all your favorite fried foods without the mess and fat of deep frying. It circulates hot air as food cooks, so your food ends up crispier than in a conventional oven.

Sync Finish

The best part about the Deluxe Air Fryer & Oven is that you can use both compartments at the same time to make meals and desserts—and everything will finish cooking at the same time!

Sync Finish Tips:

• When you’re cooking raw dough, add your food when that oven’s timer starts. Adding it beforehand may lead to overcooking.

• When you use Sync Finish, food will take longer to cook. For non-Pampered Chef recipes, add 3–5 minutes to the cook time, so everything cooks evenly.

Accessories

The Deluxe Air Fryer & Oven includes a few extras that’ll help you make so many recipes:

Accessory How to Use

1. Crumb Trays (x2) Place these in the bottom of each compartment any time you’re cooking to help catch crumbs.

2. Sheet Pan

3. Wire Rack

Use for meat, vegetables, and other foods that drip while they cook.

Use for larger foods that don’t drip while they cook, and to place the Sheet Pan on.

4. Air Fryer Rack (x2) Use in the Bottom Compartment for crispier foods.

1 2 3 4

Tips for Success

• Do the Initial Test Run in the use and care manual before using for the first time.

• The first time you cook, make something easy like French fries or roasted veggies in the Bottom Compartment and frozen pizza in the Top Compartment. Check out the charts on p. 8–14 for directions.

• You can use foil or parchment paper cut to the size of your pan in either compartment—but don’t use wax paper.

• Use oils with a high smoke point like avocado, canola, or vegetable oil. Using olive oil may cause more smoke or a burnt flavor.

• For easier cleanup and less sticking, grease your trays or pans before cooking.

Frozen Foods

Charts include a cook time range due to varying brands and sizes of food.

1. Arrange frozen foods in a single layer on the specified pan.

2. Refer to your package directions, or select the setting based on the chart below.

• To cook evenly, arrange the pieces with the thickest parts toward the outside edge of the pan.

• Chicken should reach an internal temperature of 165°F(74°C) and pork should reach 145°F (63°C).

• For whole roasts, we recommend using the Sheet Pan to minimize and save the drippings. But you can use the Air Fryer Rack if you want a crispier exterior.

8 servings | 20-min prep time | 40-min total time

Ingredients

1 pkg (6.2 oz./175 g) Indian-Style Rice Meal Mix , prepared (see cook’s tips)

4 oz. (125 g) mozzarella cheese, grated (1 cup/250 mL)

1/2 cup (125 mL) heavy cream

¼ cup (60 mL) dried cranberries

¼ cup (60 mL) sliced almonds

2 tbsp (30 mL) chopped cilantro, plus additional for serving
