The Salvation Army administers the SHARE/Homeless Intervention Program (HIP) and the Center of Hope - Transitional Housing program at this location. Singles and families are accepted. Applicants must meet program criteria; a caseworker will determine eligibility.

VHTH is an intensive 1-year program assisting families in the transition from being homeless to acquiring the skills necessary to maintain stable and independent living. To be eligible for the program, you must be in one of the following situations: in the process of eviction, living in a shelter, or living with family or friends in crowded conditions. You must have custody of children under the age of 18, full-time employment for 30 days, and a working vehicle. Participants pay a program fee of 30% of gross income to pay for utilities. All participants are held accountable for maintaining fulltime employment, learning budget skills, paying off debts, cleaning up credit, attending classes, and supervising the well-being of their children.

The Salvation Army Center of Hope provides a 48-bed homeless shelter. Singles and families are accepted. Applicants must meet program criteria; a caseworker will determine eligibility. Meals are served 7 days a week, 52 weeks of the year at this location.

Founded in 1997 by the Benedictine Sisters of Virginia, the BARN is a secular, non-denominational not-for profit organization that provides housing and access to services for homeless women and their children from a minimum of 6 months to a maximum of 24 months. BARN provides case management, job skills training, counseling and life skills, financial management, education, employment assistance and assistance with permanent housing. Mothers must be at least 19 years old with physical custody of at least one child, must meet HUD guidelines for homelessness, and must be referred by a community agency.

The Victory Transitional Housing (VTH) offers transitional housing to homeless families and individuals with a broad range of needs. The programs caseworkers help individuals achieve and sustain a higher quality of life through counseling, resources, life skills classes and money management. To be eligible for the program, you must have employment and a reliable vehicle. When funding is available, CTI also helps with security deposit, rental assistance and utility payments to homeless families. Financial assistance is available through the Homeless Solution Grant (HSG) for qualified families and individuals. Felicia Champion, Program Director.

The District # 25 Probation and Parole Office serves the counties of Loudoun, Fauquier and Rappahannock. The main office is in Leesburg while the Warrenton sub-office covers Fauquier and Rappahannock. District # 25 is part of the Community Corrections Division of the Virginia Department of Corrections. Our goal and focus is to help instill internal change with individuals who have been placed directly on supervised probation by a Circuit Court, or have served a period of incarceration and have been released with a probation or parole obligation. We use evidence-based practices and contract with outside agencies to create specific treatment programs designed to assist clients in becoming successful citizens.

The 20W Court Services Unit (CSU) is governed by the Department of Juvenile Justice and covers Fauquier and Rappahannock counties. It handles complaints concerning minors accused of violating a criminal statute, as well as child support, custody, and protective order complaints. CSU staff supervise youth that have been placed on probation, parole or require some type of monitoring supervision. CSU provides public protection in
