Earth Village Education inspires environmental stewardship, facilitates nature connection, and builds community through dynamic, hands-on outdoor education. Nature connection programs (in the spring and fall) and day camps (in the summer) for children are offered along with a regular schedule of classes and events for families and adults. Topics such as wild edible plants, permaculture gardening, bird language, blacksmithing, tree identification, wool felting, beekeeping, hide tanning, fire by friction, wilderness medicine, and orienteering and navigation, are provided. We work with schools, community centers, home school groups, Boy and Girl Scout troops, libraries, churches, and other organizations to provide programs on ecology, conservation, and sustainability in an engaging deeply with the natural world.
