1) There is a request for Mr. Forbes to visit the Connection office regularly.

Mr. Forbes has a management style where he is available for all staff. He regularly visits all five Palm Tran facilities and will increase his presence at the Connection office. The Town Hall is designed to be a forum in which to engage employee concerns.

2) A bus operator suggests that Palm Tran create a $500 incentive bonus for bus operators that are accident free for one year.

Thank you for your suggestion. Safety is Palm Tran’s top priority and this appears to be a good incentive. Palm Tran kindly requests that operators work through their union leadership to discuss incentive bonuses at union negotiations.

3) Palm Tran has lost many to COVID. Can employees have a direct liaison for those families who have lost loved ones above the EAP service? Possibly a non-denominational preacher?

Mr. Forbes is in discussion with Mr. Mattingly on how this can be accommodated with ATU counselors.
