9) A bus operator requested that an ice machine be installed in South County. This request was deemed redundant on the grounds that a refrigerator is available for operators and a ice machine is available in the maintenance facility.

Reservationists are using Google maps; however, Palm Tran is talking to Trapeze now about new updates to create a better user experience. Palm Tran’s new PASSWeb online customer booking portal uses Google Maps for geolocating and address lookup. Palm Tran is working with Trapeze to both improve the maps in our back end trip booking system and on the operator’s mobile data terminals.
11) A Connection employee suggested that a video be made to assist with the eligibility process. Palm Tran will create a video with steps on the eligibility process and how to use Passweb by August 2023.
12) Can Palm Tran communicate about maintenance updates, such as electric doors, lights, and water dispensers? Palm Tran also has equipment that is old and needs to be replaced. Who is responsible for tracking end of life use?
Palm Tran will be scheduling Maintenance Forums in the near future to address these concerns. Palm Tran will also communicate the progress of ticket items with all stakeholders.
13) A bus operator has concerns with the air conditioner at Palm Tran facilities.
