To protect your wooden products from the weather, wood-destroying fungi and insects, we encourage you to more actively use our product treatment service with clear white (suitable for pre-paint treatment) or brown impregnation liquid.

NORDIC SPRUCE Wood is an impressive, warm and living material. And there is nothing compared to the wonderful aroma of fresh timber. During the long, cold winters the trees grow slowly, which makes their timber especially thick and durable. You can feel it in all our products – comfortable garden and log houses, pavilions, carports, tool sheds, children’s play houses, weekend and living houses, glue-laminated products, and wood pellets.

TREATMENT AS ADDITIONAL PROTECTION FOR WOODEN HOUSES

Production lines and machines allow us to flexibly arrange procedures and to produce a very wide product range from square log houses with different log thickness to the element, prefabricated and large weekend log houses. As we have our own treatment baths for brown and clear white dip treatment, the majority of our product range can be ordered treated with water-soluble treatment liquid Axil Sarpeco 850 by Berkem Group, guaranteeing treatment within classes 1–3. Treating wood with a preservative effectively protects against wooddestroying fungi and insects including termites. The brown treatment can enhance the colour of your house, but the clear white treatment works for the pre-paint preparation stage.

A Palmako cottage can provide a rural escape or a place where you can retreat from your everyday routine, or it can simply be a garden house that offers more space and a wider variety of usage options.

We offer houses with wall thicknesses of 44 mm and 70 mm solid timber, as well as 88 mm, 114 mm and 134 mm laminated timber. This catalogue includes only some of the models and ideas available for weekend houses – with the help of our architects and bespoke design service we are also able to offer buildings made to your specific design and requirements. Ready-made wall elements are covered with wind-protection plastic inside, making these houses extremly weatherproof, especially rain and wind resistant. In order to hide cabling (wires, pipes, etc.) there is internal wall-cladding and there is also opportunity for 70 mm insulation. All the houses have double thermo glazing and outwardsopening windows.

ONE SET – MANY HOUSES! A model contains a set of wall and window-door elements, which can be rearranged in several ways. This results in multiple appearance options for the house.

Treating wood with preservative effectively protects against wood-destroying fungi and insects including termites. After successful treatment, the preservative is weather and leach resistant.

Currently we offer brown and clear white dip treatment. The brown treatment can enhance the colour of your house, but the clear white treatment works for the pre-paint preparation stage. For longterm protection and to ensure that wooden products last for a long time, every treated item should also be covered with paint.
