….They broke bread with glad and generous hearts, praising God and having the goodwill of all the people. And day by day the Lord added to their number those who were being saved… (Acts 2:46-47)
Dear Friends,
Our cherished community has been tested by the devastating impact of hurricanes Helene and Milton. While many of our beloved members are weathering profound hardships, we've witnessed something beautiful emerge those who were blessed to be spared are opening their hearts to help their neighbors in need. In these challenging times, the compassionate spirit of PCPC shines through as our dedicated staff and volunteers lovingly provide spiritual comfort, warm meals, and helping hands to those facing some of life's greatest trials.
True stewardship flows from the heart and reaches far beyond financial giving it embraces the sacred responsibility of nurturing all of God's precious gifts, whether time, talent, or resources. Through quiet moments of prayer and spiritual reflection, each of us discovers our own unique path to sharing these divine blessings with others.
As you review this year’s Stewardship newsletter, please know that this message carries both our deepest gratitude for your faithful support and a gentle invitation to continue walking this meaningful path with us. Our heartfelt prayers embrace all our families and community members as we journey together through these challenging times toward healing and renewal.

A Letter From The Pastor
Dear Friends,
When Jesus wanted to give his followers a symbol they could return to again and again as a way of remembering him and as a way of experiencing his presence, he chose the dinner table. It not only gathers us around Jesus as the host of the meal, but it also brings us together in unity as his family, and gathers us together in gratitude because we are present there at his invitation.
That was true 2,000 years ago when Jesus gave us the gift of the table, and it is true today when, in worship, we gather together around the table of the Lord’s Supper Timeless truth, marvelous and miraculous moment; it reminds us even as it shapes and makes us into Jesus’ followers.

A Letter From The Pastor, continued:
“At the Table” is PCPC’s Stewardship theme this year, and it is such a rich and inviting call to gather as Christ’s family, to feast and belong, to claim your identify by participating. At the table we not only eat, we also serve one another, family style.
So the Bible reminds us that generosity is a part of our family character. Even as we have been profoundly blessed by God’s abundant love, so we learn to be agents of that love in the lives of others, and we pass on as a heritage that family practice of generosity and service.
This fall found us hurricane-disrupted from many of the regular elements that support us: power, shelter, schools. But the presence and ministry of the church is called to continue from generation to generation.
Let us come to the table together. Let us gather once again in faith and service as we partner, as a family, in generously and prayerfully supporting Christ’s church. Come to the table! We are expecting you. Your place is reserved!
In Christ’s Love, John T. DeBevoise Pastor

STEWARDSHIP HIGHLIGHTS AT PCPC
PCPC thrives because the congregation provides both the financial support and their time & dedication to fulfill and grow the various ministries and programs that it offers throughout the year. Check out some of the highlights over the past year. While this list isn’t fully comprehensive of all the ways our members give back, it gives a snapshot of how many blessings come from our table, and how you are furthering the mission of this Church and God’s mission across the community and beyond.
FAITH FORMATION
CHILDREN&FAMILIES
Allison Kelly, Director of Children & Families: “We are known in the community for our VBS, and this past year was another quality experience for our 135 children, 52 adult volunteers, and 25 youth. Because of your generosity, our children enjoyed shaved ice on a very hot day, active games and yoga in the gym, stories around the campfire, shirts for tie-dye, hearty snacks, learning songs and sign language, and flashlights for helping us trust in the Lord. Our VBS volunteers were able to place their 26 children in our Nursery care without a registration fee.”

OUTREACH
YOUTH
Youth Director Kate Donaldson says:
Youth summer trips are foundational in the spiritual momentum they create and the relationships that are developed. Our youth ministry ethos is "Connecting with God and each other." The shared experiences of our summer trips ensure that we encounter a loving God in the midst of a loving community.
When we are able to supplement costs and provide scholarships for students, we can ensure that everyone has the opportunity to participate in the amazing things we do.
PRESCHOOL MUSIC
“The welcome At The Table doesn't have to be fancy, it can be as simple as Rice Chex cereal and applesauce, but making room for all has a profound impact and, in my experience, makes God's light and love tangible.”
- Meg Pabst, Preschool Director

FELLOWSHIP
Stewardship is not merely a seasonal commitment; it is a year-round practice that enriches our lives and the lives of those around us. The funds you contribute directly support the many programs and ministries of our church, allowing us to extend our reach into the community and serve those in need. From youth activities to outreach initiatives, your generosity fuels the mission of our church and helps us share God's love in tangible ways.
This season, we encourage you to consider how you can actively participate in this journey of stewardship. Whether through financial contributions, volunteering your time, or sharing your unique talents, every act of service strengthens our community and reflects the grace we have received.
Let us gather around the table, sharing our blessings and committing to a vibrant future together. Your involvement is essential to the life of our church, and we are deeply grateful for your continued support and generosity.
We pray that you will consider making a pledge to make a financial contribution to PCPC in 2025 to allow this church to continue to come together as one. SHARING OUR BLESSINGS AT THE TABLE
