Timing devices are found in about all electronic components and are used for giving timing signals to transmit information at the ideal time and speed or to provide ceaseless synchronizing signals. Small timing devices include pocket and wrist instruments generally with mechanical developments and hands to show elapsed time. Whereas large timing devices are produced as table and board mounted units, such as demonstrational clocks. They are typically electrically powered electromechanical, or electronics which come with digital displays.
