If you notice a cord is starting to fray or break, then you should change the appliance as soon as possible. 3. Keep a Fire Extinguisher Nearby- Always keep a fire extinguisher in a safe place near the kitchen and you should schedule fire extinguisher inspections on a regular basis to make sure it will work in the time of need.
