SECTION PRESCHOOL | SUBSECTION 2018-2019 3–4 YEARS
Three year old preschool is the first school experience for many children. Hands on and developmentally appropriate activities will be offered in pre-reading, pre-writing, math, science, art, and large motor skills. Children will also learn how to be away from their family, make friends, and be a part of a group. In addition, they will learn to work and play cooperatively with other children, make choices, follow simple directions, and become more independent. There are three staff members for each class. (PRESCHOOL ENROLLMENT NOT REQUIRED) Lunch enrichment offers time to further improve pre-kindergarten skills. Children should bring a peanut-free lunch and a drink. The cost of lunch enrichment will be paid monthly. Days and times listed by location. Note that Lunch Enrichment's start and end dates differ from preschool's. Any child age 3–5 is welcome to be enrolled in Lunch Enrichment regardless of enrollment in preschool. Preschoolers can extend their day by adding Lunch Enrichment at their preschool location.
