This extra lining is called Bump and is kind of a blanket type fabric.

Design of Curtains The next key factor to decide is the design of the curtains as per the room settings and décor. Many types of designs can be tried, such as Pinch Pleats, Box Pleats, Goblet Pleats, Pierced Headings, Tie Tops, Rod Pocket etc. complimenting the décor of the room. The design of curtains can be elevated by adding various accessories like tassels, fringes, bows and tie backs etc.

Curtain Size and Measurements Finally the size and exact measurements is very crucial. The length and breadth of the curtains has to be such that, besides covering the windows fully, they provide a sense of completeness to the room.
