Indian DIG Coast Guard to face court martial for destroying Pakistan boat paring to initiate court martial proceedings against Indian Coast Guard Deputy Inspector General BK Loshali from September, nearly six months after he admitted to blowing up a Pakistani fishing boat. The move comes after a board of inquiry indicted Loshali on May 3 after he contradicted the government’s version of events that all four crew members of the “terror” boat had been killed after they blew it up themselves following a high speed chase to avoid arrest, The Times of India reported. The board was constituted in Febru-

A civilian woman was killed in cross-border shelling by the Indian army in Kashmir, in violation of ceasefire agreement, officials said. Three other civilians — the woman’s husband and daughter, and a third female relative — were wounded in the shelling, local officials said. The incident took place on Friday in Nezapir sector, located in Forward Kahuta district on the Line of Control (LoC). hijacked by a group of four occupiers, which is impeding restructuring of the PTI as political party. He was talking to media on Sunday. Ahmed said he has no intention to part ways with the PTI but all he wants is to cleanse the party from the occupiers or Qabza mafia. He said he wants to hold free and fair intra-party elections in PTI. The merit was ruined during distribution of party tickets for the Cantonment Boards’ elections in other provinces and for local bodies polls in Khyber Pakhtoonkhawa. This was all done by the occupier group of PTI, he alleged, adding that the group is the biggest hurdle in holding intra-party polls in PTI.

Ahmed said there were 7 million members during intraparty polls and hence there is not further need for more members because reopening the membership would also open doors to rigging. He said the election tribunal of the PTI has already disqualified PTI incumbent General Secretary Jahangir Khan Tareen, Aleem Khan and Nadir Akmal Leghari. He said that he has recently held a long meeting with the PTI Chairman Imran Khan and claimed that the Chairman is also in favour of re-elections in the PTI but at an appropriate time. He said that he has informed Imran Khan that the PTI election tribunal has sacked four leaders from the party but Imran Khan is now facing some difficult time due to which he is not approving the sacking of those four leaders.
