This yellow had my heart the minute I saw it. It’s the perfect shade for a mayoun or a mehndi. A very traditional dress, that has gota and embroidery with paisley motifs and elephants at the border.

A line up of black with dashes of gold, Maheen Karim's collection showcased her talent in creating cuts that brought out the most powerful elements of feminity in her creations. The interplay between the print and the cuts was done to utmost sensibility and made everyone in the audience want to wear her pieces.

N i da azwer Fashion that emulates art via its fabric and evokes an emotional response from the rows viewing intently is rare, nonetheless Nida Azwer managed to ring those chords. The models glided to Ali Sethi's vocals around the ramp in deep tones and generously curated fabric.

Power, defines all of Onyx in its entirety. An army of models clad in black took over the stage on Day 1 of FPW defining all that sets HSY apart from his fashion industry peers. Bilal Ashraf walked down the ramp as the show stopper channeling all the energy Onyx was relaying.

We loved Mohsin Abbas Haider's swag on the ramp as he opened Deepak & Fahad's collection showcase.

The famous TV serial Mann Mayal's Mikaeel & Jeena walked the ramp for Natasha Kamal. It was an interesting choice as they palyed negative roles in the drama.

Mawra Hocane carried a 30kg bridal, effortlessly as she walked for Republic Women's wear!

FPW had a CSR angle this time with SKMH distributing Pink Butterflies for Breast Cancer Awareness to the audience and celebrities attending the show!

HSY's Onyx collection was inspired

by Karl Lagerfeld & only he could put his own face on bags & pull it off!

The attention to detail in Arsalan Iqbal's collection is worth a mention - Umair Mirza sported the patched lace shoes from the collection the next day on the red carpet & rocked them.

FPW 2016 closed with the cutest finale ever. Edible munchkins were seen walking the ramp for Nauman Arfeen's show. We couldn't stop awwing!
