Governor Address Amsu Yallalacheruvu Everyone! My name is Amsu Yallalacheruvu and I am the District Governor of Pennsylvania. I am a rising senior at North Allegheny Senior High School and was the Division 3 LTG last year. I spent this last summer spending time with my friends and family, working, and going to my internship. Outside of Key Club I participate in DECA, and Student Council! As the Pennsylvania Key Club District Governor, my job is to oversee the district and work with my Executive Board members and Lieutenant Governors to grow our district and help it reach its highest potential. I attend meetings with Bob (the District Administrator) and try to attend as many committee meetings as I can to make sure that I am a part of all communications happening on the board.

Hi

I want this upcoming year to be a strong comeback from our year of Covid and help all clubs become active again and go back to serving our communities the way we used to before the pandemic. I think that with everyone's hard work and dedication, we could accomplish this goal and I am excited to put on an incredible convention to celebrate our successes this year! Yours In Service,Amsu Yallalacheruvu governor@pakeyclub.org (724)-939-0736

Add Josh Kim Hey Key Clubbers, I hope that everyone is having a great summer! I am Joshua Kim, the 2022-2023 District Secretary Treasurer. I am a junior at Upper Dublin High School and was the D Governor this past year. Throughout the summer, I have been enjoying my time at my internship and have been golfing often. Outside of Key Club, I am a part of my school’s Yearbook, newspaper club (I write sports articles about the Philadelphia Eagles and the Philadelphia 76ers), and Model UN. I hope to work with the Board in creating surveys that will be periodically sent throughout the year; this survey may ask you all (the Key Clubbers) to elaborate on any service projects that you want to highlight, and there may be open responses about what each of you wants to see from our Board.

Sec/Treas

One way to achieve two-way communication is by filling out the Officer Information Report and Monthly Report Form; these two forms can be found on our website (pakeyclub.org). I look forward to working with all of you this year, so together let's make this year one full of service and care! Yours In Service, Sec-Treas@pakeyclub.org (267)-294-6015 Josh Kim

Editor Address Valerie Naylor Hey everyone! My name is Valerie Naylor and I am a rising senior at Lewisburg Area High School. Outside of Key Club, I'm a Cheerleader, Student Officer, as well as a member of Student Council and Mini-THON. As the Pennsylvania Key Club District Bulletin Editor, my job is to expand our social media, collaborate with technology committee, and make Keystonians just like this. As a part of the Executive Board, I work closely with my execs to do what’s best for Key Club as a whole, and help the Lieutenant Governors with whatever they need.

Before I became editor, I was Division 8 and Division 10 Lieutenant Governor. I’m so glad I still get to work with my team and do my normal Key Club things, but also get to use my creativity to show people what Key Club is all about. I’m so excited to see what this year brings us and can’t wait to see what you all accomplish! Yours In Service, Valerie Naylor editor@pakeyclub.org (570)-939-0035

ICON RECAP Dear PA Key Club, My name is Shuban Tiwari, and I was the candidate from the Pennsylvania District running for the International Trustee position. Just a few weeks ago, I had the opportunity to attend Key Club’s International Convention in Washington DC. The workshops were great spaces to meet new people and gain valuable skills—ranging from serious topics like how to become a governor, all the way to silly workshops like karaoke. An insightful workshop I got the opportunity to visit was the Key Club Brand Guide workshop, and as an LTG, I think this workshop would’ve helped my newsletters a lot. If you look up “Key Club Brand Guide” online, you should be able to find it!

ICON RECAP One of the biggest differences between DCON and ICON is the election of the trustees, international vice president, and international president. I’m happy to announce that this year I was elected to the international trustee position and if anyone is interested in learning more, feel free to reach out! Finally, the ICON attendants had the pleasure of listening to highly accomplished and successful individuals speak about their relation to key club. Sal Khan, Lex Gillette, and Bill Nelson all left a tremendous impact on the audience, and I’m thankful to Key Club International for bringing them out. ICON is a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and I wouldn’t miss anything for it. I look forward to seeing more people at ICON next year I wish you all the best! Yours In Service, Shuban Tiwari shuban.tiwari@keyclub.org (716)-986-1028

DCON RECAP Hey everyone! My name is Valerie Naylor and last year I attended District Convention as the Division 10 Lieutenant Governor. I was apart of three workshops; Diversity, Inclusion, and Equity, Theme Trivia, and Youth Serving Youth. Aside from my workshops, there was Team Bonding, Key Leader, Membership, Social Media, Officer Training, Mental Health Awareness, COVID Impact, Life After Key Club, Card Making, and many workshops about Key Club's International Partners! I also was the chair of Recognition, which runs all of the awards and contests your club can win at DCON. I highly recommend applying for awards and contests because it recognizes all of your hard work and they aren't difficult to achieve.

DCON RECAP With this being said, I hope more of you attend DCON this March. The date and place is shown above, so please consider fundrasing ahead of time so more of your members can go! I can't wait to meet you all this year :) Yours In Service, Valerie Naylor

Communication through social media One amazing way to enhance communication is by creating an active social media account. Here are some tips for running one! Post Regularly: The more you post, the more you are seen by others and reaching out to your intended audience. Following: Make sure your club members, advisors, and Lieutenant Governors are following your page! This way, they will stay updated with your club and have an easy way to reach out. Informational: Keep your posts short and sweet, but be sure to add any upcoming information consistently. Involvement: By having a club member of the week award or highlighting and introducing different club members through bios, keep your members involved and excited about Key Club.
