HOW-TO:

Rolling your R's involves creating a vibration with the tip of your tongue against the roof of your mouth, just behind your upper front teeth. It’s similar to imitating the sound of a cat purring.

Here's how to practice:

Position Your Tongue: Place it lightly against the ridge behind your top front teeth, keeping it slightly curled in at the sides.

Exhale: Push air through your mouth while your tongue is in position. Find the Vibration: Experiment with your tongue pressure and position until it starts to “flutter” naturally.

Practice: Roll your R’s as you read along with this book, and press the corresponding sound buttons to hear an example you can match.

How do you roll your R’s?
