ArtReach Catalog Spring 2025

Page 1

All In-Person and Virtual Classes led by highly-skilled professional teaching artists living, working, and creating in Pennsylvania.

What is ArtReach?

At PA Cyber, we believe the creative and performing arts are essential to a dynamic and fulfilling education. Study after study shows that the arts promote academic achievement and heighten cultural literacy. They also equip students with the skills vital for success in the 21st century. Skills such as critical thinking, creative problem solving, effective communication, and the ability to collaborate with others.

PA Cyber has teamed up with Lincoln Park Performing Arts Center—a leading provider of arts and educational programming in Pennsylvania—to create ArtReach. This collaboration provides our students access to ongoing classes, workshops, virtual experiences, and performance opportunities taught by experienced and highly-skilled professional artists. ArtReach gives students the opportunity to broaden and deepen their knowledge of diverse art forms, cultivate their artistic talents, socialize and collaborate with other PA Cyber students, and most importantly, have fun! ArtReach is offered as in-person classes taught at PA Cyber’s headquarters and nine regional office sites, as well as online through Virtual ArtReach.

In this catalog, you will find ArtReach course descriptions for the upcoming semester for both in-person and virtual classes. Keep in mind that course offerings are subject to change based on students’ needs and interest, as well as instructor availability.

ArtReach is just another way that at PA Cyber, the learning—and the creativity—never stop.

Classes and workshops at PA Cyber Regional Offices will have supplies for ArtReach students to use. However, students are welcome to bring their own supplies, instruments, etc. as long as they received approval from their ArtReach Teaching Artist.

Course offerings are subject to change based on students’ needs and interest, as well as instructor availability.
