Osteopathic medicine treats the patient as a whole person, not just a set of symptoms. Embarking on a new career can be a scary prospect. The words “hot yoga” sometimes conjure up an intimidating mental image: a sea of young, fanatically fit bodies led by a mercilessly demanding instructor. At Red Dragon Yoga, which opened eight years ago in Mill Valley and opens a second studio in San Rafael this fall, new students are often surprised to see that the “average” hot yoga devotee is anything but stereotypical.
