The award is presented each year to an outstanding individual for contributions in elevating the level of humanity in our society. ▼ “Pursue your passions,” is the slogan displayed prominently on the website of the respected Branson School in Ross. We wonder if Branson headmaster Thomas Price, 54, who was arrested last week on felony drug charges, misunderstood the passion concept. Police allegedly found Price, known as “Woody,” in a hotel room outside Sacramento with a 21-year-old woman passed out on a bed and a cache of drugs suspected to be cocaine, heroin and enough meth to warrant a charge of possession for sale. Reportedly, Woody, who earned close to $500,000 annually as headmaster, posted his $75,000 bail quickly, but his young friend was still in jail last time we checked. At least the Zero resigned from his prestigious position promptly and enabled Branson to —Nikki Silverstein move forward.
