KABOOM!

In honor of winning Region of the Year during the pandemic, PDS recognized the South Inland Empire and Inland Desert regions (formerly known collectively as the South Inland Empire) with a special opportunity to build a playground within the area. For the planning and organization of these events, PDS partners with KABOOM!, a national nonprofit that works with communities to build play spaces for those who have less access to play where they learn and live.

On Saturday, Jan. 28, PDS team members demonstrated the power of teamwork by building a playground in just one day for the First Community Church of God in Homeland, Calif. This was the 18th playground build in partnership with KABOOM! since 2010. Thanks to the help of more than 150 PDS team members, this will have a tremendous impact within the community and inspire healthy play for generations of children.
