Office of the Year: Mesa Modern Dentistry

Leveraging the PDS Platform for Success

With close to $4.7 million in revenue, a growing top line at 16%, NOI of 33.4% and NOI growth 12 months trailing at 25% year-over-year, Miran Ho, owner dentist of Mesa Modern Dentistry (office 262), had nothing but inspiring words to say about winning this accolade.

“Even though our office developed three owner dentists and lead dental assistants who left our practice to serve in leadership roles at other locations, we worked together as a team and overcame those challenges.” When asked what advice she would give to other offices that aspire to achieve this honor, Dr. Ho reiterated the effectiveness of the PDS platform which includes patient quality outcomes, proven business services, professional development, peer interaction, practice culture, personal brand building, patient value proposition and working hand-in-hand with the regional partner.

“If you follow the platform and apply the tools to your practice while drawing a clear clinical culture around it, the results will follow,” she said. “When team members utilize the platform, they understand it was designed to produce results. The message we want to deliver is that vision, awareness, repetition and mastery of the platform will produce results. Everyone in PDS wants to lift and collaborate with one another. We are not alone and we can choose to succeed.”

Fun Fact: In 2017, Dr. Ho and her operations manager, Tiffany Amistoso, were so determined to win Office of the Year at an upcoming XP awards ceremony that they posed on the XP stage with the award hoping to manifest their dream. Six years later, they wore the exact same dresses they wore in 2017 hoping it would result in a win. Call it visionary, luck or happenstance. Either way, the dresses worked.
