XP Awards Gala and Ceremony

From Extern to XP

As a clinician, Megan Grocke, RDH, cares deeply for all her patients and engages with them at the highest level. The same can be said for her as a team member. Her journey with PDS has taken her from extern to dental assistant to lead dental assistant. That alone is impressive. She took it to the next level by going back to school to become a dental hygienist. Megan’s passion is dentistry and her goal required her to invest in herself so she could invest even more time with her patients. Leaving for a short time to complete her education, she returned in 2021. The team at Loveland Modern Dentistry (office 524) was all too happy to welcome her back.

“I’ve seen Megan grow so much since I started working with her in 2018. She takes feedback to heart and applies it directly to her personal and professional development. Megan overcomes challenges and sees opportunities in disguise to turn them into assets,” said Ernest “Garred” Gomez, DMD, owner dentist.

“You don’t see that very often in people—she deserves this award. She’s also very humble. After winning the Award of Distinction, she told the team that her success is our success— that’s just who she is.”

Not only does Megan provide exceptional care and put her patients first, she is also a top performer with some impressive statistics. In 2022, she achieved $431,446 in total production, had 64% retention after SRP, 77% retention after PMV and educated more than 1,300 patients about the Mouth-Body Connection®

On winning the XP Award of Distinction, Megan said, “I came back because I love this company. I love my office. I love my owner dentist. He’s been so inspiring along the way to my growth… I just want to keep challenging myself and keep growing.” From all of us, Megan, the feeling is mutual.
