Create a backup of your old iPhone
Why is it important to create a backup?
To transfer your apps and their content from your old to your new iPhone, you need to create a backup.
Some apps don’t allow backups
You need to install them again manually on your new iPhone, e.g.:
• eBanking apps
• Grüner Pass or other vaccination certificate apps
• Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) apps (we will guide you through the MFA setup you need for your work at Red Bull)
• Password safes
• WhatsApp or other non-company massaging tools (some tools offer internal backup solutions that are not described in this guide)
How do I create a backup of my old iPhone?
I want to create an iCloud backup (recommended)
This is the easiest way to transfer data from your old iPhone to your new iPhone:
• Always stores your backups in a safe and encrypted location
• Unlimited storage for transferring data via backup
• Allows you to create and use backups from anywhere with Wi-Fi
