ATS iEA™ Intelligent Engine Analyzer (Requires Scope) The ATS EMI1030 Intelligent Engine Analyser is available as a stand alone kit and when paired with either the 4 or 8 channel ATS Oscilloscope it can turn your laptop into a powerful engine diagnostic machine to pinpoint the locations of a misfire or mechanical problems, such as incorrect valve timing or compression loss.

The kit includes exhaust pressure transducers, minus 30in.hg, 300psi and 500psi, A Spark tester with RF filter, exhaust pulse amplifier, cylinder compression adaptors, vacuum and tail pipe hoses, adaptors and cables.

The ATS BULLSEYE LEAK DETECTOR utilises carbon dioxide, CO2 as the medium for testing enclosed systems such as air conditioning and fuel evap emission control systems. It can also be used to check cylinder integrity or even cooling systems prior to refilling which is a great way to locate potential issues in complex cooling systems with components often buried under manifolds and covers and it uses cheap CO2 to do so.

With evap and fuel tank leaks it is possible to locate very small leaks due to the much smaller molecule of CO2 which will escape more easily than a fuel molecule or your standard smoke machine vapour. The gas is also non flammable and the benefit of using CO2 in a/c systems is well known and has been used for many years.

With CO2 you can pressurise the empty system to 200psi. Again, the smaller molecule will reveal a very small leak, and the highly sensitive electronic leak detector will locate the area quickly.

The bullseye foaming fluid is then used to pinpoint the exact location, as indicated by a colour change. These techniques can save many comebacks, and lost refrigerant.

This unit can be used with SodaStream bottles which once you have the kit it becomes a very cost effective way to test. This kit comes with 2 packs of Bullseye Foam (4 cans in total)

It uses industry standard BNC cables to connect with your scope, utilising up to 3 channels.

The Pressure Pro allows three pressure transducers to be powered, grounded, and supplies output signals simultaneously and allows all three sensors to be independently zeroed. This unit will allow the user to use and display three different pressure transducers on the oscilloscope at once, thus helping with the mechanical testing of engines.

When testing the internal combustion engine you will need to monitor in-cylinder pressure (300 PSI Gasoline, or 500 PSI Diesel), induction pressure (-30 Hg), and exhaust pressure (+/- 25 H20) simultaneously.

Note: When using the Pressure Pro with your voltage measuring instrument 1 Pressure Transducer Cable (PTR1080) and 1 Pressure Pro to scope BNC Cable (PTR1100) is necessary for each Pressure Transducer being used.

There are 4 different size ATS pressure transducers to suit your needs: -30 HG, 300PSI, 500PSI & 5000 PSI Note: When picking a pressure transducer always pick the pressure closest to the peak pressures to be read.

The greater the sensing pressure the thicker the diaphragm will be.

This means that the sensitivity of the transducer is diminished.

For example if reading an in-cylinder pressure from a Gasoline based engine use of a 300 PSI sensor is recommended. If reading an in-cylinder pressure from a Diesel based engine use of a 500 PSI sensor is recommended.

Pressure Pro Kit This kit will work with any oscilloscope to display up to three pressure transducer outputs simultaneously.
